Food 4 Less is a no-frills, low-cost warehouse-style grocery store that offers a wide selection of bulk grocery, produce, and health and beauty care items at everyday low prices. Customers appreciate the significant savings compared to other grocery chains like Ralphs and Kroger, with some noting that $270 worth of groceries at Ralphs is only about three-quarters of what they can get for the same price at Food 4 Less. The store's straightforward approach, which requires customers to bag their own groceries, is seen as a small trade-off for the substantial cost savings. However, some customers have expressed frustration with the attitude of certain cashiers, particularly when it comes to providing enough shopping bags. Despite these minor issues, Food 4 Less is generally regarded as a pleasant place to shop, with one customer praising a security guard who went out of their way to assist a handicapped shopper in need of a cart. Overall, the store's focus on offering the best possible value for customers' money has made it a popular choice for thrifty shoppers in the area.
