I was really bummed when it said online there was a pool and there wasn't one up on arrival. Biggest issue I have with this spot is the employee at the front desk a short frumpy and grumpy dark haired lady that works usually daytime. I am convinced she has a chip on her shoulder, my fiancee seemed to be treated unfairly by her as well. I've been here in the past and it was great. Hope they fix things.

Central, free parking. Had been renovated (but already showing signs) breakfast👍🏼 But no bar as advertised. Rooms ok, bed so, so, and pillows were lumpy.

The hotel was excellent!
Rooms were clean upon arrival, breakfast was delicious, parking was plentiful, all the staff were so incredibly kind and accommodating, check in and check out was easy peasy.
It’s in a great location close to Disneyland and other fun stuff on the west coast.
We felt very safe staying here and very well taken care of!

The wifi is absolutely horrible. Good luck using it..the tv wont log on. Laptop wont long on. My cell phone will log on for like 5 seconds then... nope..

Best bed ever after being on a cruise for 7 days stayed here rather than drive home and it totally fixed our back in one night. Lots of places to eat and shopping all around great location. If in the area again would stay here in a heart beat.

We would not recommend this hotel, rooms was not clean and the bugs in bathroom was the worst. AC barely worked, spend extra $25 to stay at Holiday Inn at Long Beach.

This location is in the amazing NE Long Beach/ Cypress area. Great atmosphere for walking and restaurants to choose from. My issue with the property was, on the night of my stay there was no water for hours, and when the water was turned back on. The guest had no hot water to shower with. I reported the issue to the front desk @ 9:30 p.m. and again to the overnight clerk, Diana @ 5:30 a.m. Both clerks were apologetic and tried unsuccessfully to fix the issue. So to them, I give a Bravo Zulu. As to @AARP Travel and Manager Bryan who hasn't responded to my request for a refund since June 26, 2025. I give him a failing grade for his lack of customer service, for not even acknowledging the health issue that impacted several hotel guests. As for AARP Travel, I give them a failing grade as well for offering a $25 voucher to settle the matter. I have never stayed at a hotel in my 36 years of traveling that was unable to provide basic needs for a stay.

The good the bad and the ugly.
Good, the staff was accommodating to a point but we're weird about the towels. Apparently 2 is their limit. It's a short drive to Knotts, Cerritos, and Anaheim.
The bad, this location isn't the greatest. It's loud, busy and the parkinglot seems to draw in druggies. The hot tub had green stuff growing in it, and there is no pool, despite the claim there is.
The ugly, roaches within the hotel. We asked to use the conference room and immediately left after finding not 1, not 2 but 5 cockroaches in the room. The room itself only had about 4 chairs, which is why we noticed the roaches so quickly. One of the kids sat on one because she had to sit on the floor.
1/10 could not be recommended.

Bed sheets were old and dirty (yellowish), definitely needs new bedsheets. And overall room needs renovation. Breakfast was of minimal quality. Room condition is below average and not in line with the expensive reservation. Staff is ok.

The room was clean, and the front staff were very accommodating and welcoming. We were greeted every time we entered. The housekeepers were very friendly. The room had minor wear and tear, but it was clean. We will definitely come stay again for vacation. We felt safe in this area.

They don’t do courtesy extended check out time. Anything past 11:30am is an extra $25 per hour.
