“We cannot say enough good things about the ece program at JCC. Our son loves going to school, and has just blossomed as a tiny human. His teacher (ms mott) is such a blessing, and cares for each child as her own. We LOVE her!! From his speech and motor skills, all the way to developing life-long friendships. An added bonus for us parents, is the aspect of community and connecting with other families in the area. We look forward to events, all school Shabbat, etc, bc we have formed such great ties to other parents and their children. Really just can't say enough good things. Very appreciative our son landed a spot in this program.”

“Mrs Adly is truly the best teacher you could trust to care for your child, and she really invests all of her heart and energy into each of her students. Although we had some bumps with our son's first toddler teacher, he transitioned to Mrs Adly's class and she brought out the best in him. He found confidence and independence through her methods, and we saw quick changes with his negative behaviors. We ultimately decided not to keep our son in LePort's program for the preschool years due to not feeling like it was the best setting for him moving forward, but I would still give 5 stars just for Mrs. Adly's and Mrs Water's hard work and dedication in helping our son thrive. Thank you guys for what you do.”

“Both my kids attend Arborland and I am so happy with the school because my children are happy. My youngest went through the Toddler and Primary program and my oldest is in the Lower Elementary with Ms Cynthia (both with the same Primary teacher, Ms Salzman). Arborland (Valencia) campus reminds me of a small village. It's more casual and folksy, and each day you will encounter the same team of teachers, administrators, aides, etc who work together to make each day fulfilling and special for the kids. On hot days, my kids might be enjoying an Otter Pop after school, or sitting in the shade with friends sipping on their water bottles after being reminded by a teacher. My kids feel loved and are known by name, by all Arborland staff, regardless of whether my kids are actually in their class. On tough days, my kids receive caring admonishment and there is always a good intent or message that comes from a place of concern or previous experience with my kids (because every kid is different). The school doesn't feel cold ... it is a bit more casual as a result, so you should balance expectations for cold, ruthless efficiency with compassion, warmth and sincerity (Ms Linda who runs the front office and wears multiple hats). Academics are more than fine, and I have found that in keeping with the Montessori way, every child excels here or has multiple pathways to excel on their terms/comfort level. Most of the parents are sincere as well and that sincerity rubs off on their classmates. Dr. Chen (the headmaster) and Ms. Veronica are familiar faces at school too and are very hands-on with any challenges that face the school (a great job handling the pandemic given so many competing/conflicting ideas on how best to handle a lose-lose situation!)”

“Our son went to Kidz First Academy and we loved every minute of it. All of the staff are so warm and welcoming. Plus his teacher Mrs. Donna really prepared him for kindergarten. They were also very cautious during covid, and no outbreaks during the height of the pandemic. Which made us feel more comfortable with him going to school. During the summer they have lots of summer activities and focus on a playtime environment, while still focusing on academics to prepare your little one with their transition into kindergarten. Thank you Mrs. Donna, Molly, Lianne, and Claudia. You all were such a big instrument in such a short period of time with our son. We wish we would of started him at 2, and not 4, but we’ll be back with our other little one. Thanks again for everything.”

“Very nice teachers. Staff and director. The teacher trained my daughter how to pee in the toilet. But I just feel the school is too basic. Only worksheet with abc 123. No hands-on learning. My daughter needs more curriculum. They got a big yard and playground. Everyone was so nice there I highly recommend :)”

“My son loves this place. He had Ms. Gaby, Ms. Alba and has Ms. Anita. The teachers are wonderful and I have seen him grow leaps and bounds here. He will be ready for preschool I’m sure. Love the events and the bilingual focus here. Also, it’s nice to know that if I have a baby, that baby can attend the same school which will minimize drop off/pick off time and stress.”

“Concordia School is a remarkable place to send children aged 2 to 5. Since my son joined the preschool program, we have been amazed by how his teachers embraced him with love and care, helping him become fluent in English and creative and social.Every morning, the teachers welcome students and families with smiles and ask how we are doing to express genuine interest in our well-being. Also, the teachers are open to discussing a child's worries or concerns and informing parents of any incidents or developments involving the child. Moreover, Concordia's outstanding curriculum prepares children to be ready for elementary school. We noticed that our son learns similarly to our daughter's kindergarten time. At the end of the year, the teachers designed each child's portfolio to showcase the child's progress and achievements. We are very grateful to send our son to Concordia before he turns kindergarten. We are looking forward to the summer programs and the following year! Hope my review helps parents decide to send their children to Concordia!”

“Our son has a few special needs and we have always felt welcomed and he loves this school. From the first time we toured this school we felt the difference and he loves coming to school every day. We even tried to put him into a regular TK class but decided it was better to bring him here where the class size was smaller and he was happiest. thank you for taking great care of our boy.”

“We are so happy our 2-year-old daughter attends KinderCare in Downey. The teachers and admin team are so professional and friendly, and they have a very well-thought out curriculum. My daughter is learning something new every day, and I have seen her blossom in just the few weeks that she has attended. 100% recommended!”

“This is a great school! Out son has been going there since for about 3 months now. The classes are small and the immersion is great. The principal is a french native and the teachers speak french from various regions of the world that speak french! I am so glad to have been able to find a french immersion school close enough to bring my little one.The staff is caring and the little community is great! Other useful info: students need to bring their own lunches, no microwaving or such. There is one hot lunch provided by the school once a week. Kids bring their own sleepsack for nap time. School hours from 8am-4pm with a 15 min window. There are some random staff development days when students end up not having school.”

“Dream-I is an amazing school. From outstanding staff and teachers to their educational yet fun program, we are glad and feel lucky we have found this place. We've searched and visited many different prospective preschools closer to our home but chose to drive the extra distance just to have our child attend this school. As a parent, we are cautious and full of questions when it comes to our children. The director, along with staff here, are sincerely nice and patient and makes sure all of your questions are answered so you can rest assured. Most importantly, our child learned so much from here and continues to do so. Dream-I is very attentive to each and every student and is informative of their daily progress which we appreciate very much. If you are in search of finding a preschool, at the very least consider this school. You won't regret it. Our child genuinely loves and enjoys going to Dream-I everyday.”

“Amazing non religious private school, preschool through 8th. Academic focused, no frills, test scores show. Old school curriculum that works. Small classes 10-13 per class. Very traditional and community based. Uniforms required all ages. Staff are long tenured for most grades, great with communication and really love our girls and what they do. Price point is great. Lots of add on choices. We are very pleased we locked into this school. No thank you oversized public.”

“We absolutely love Bayshore Co-Op and recommend it to anyone looking for a parent participation school. The location is beautiful, the little ones get lots of outdoor play & Ms. Cori is wonderful with children. Our son was very hesitant to start preschool and Ms. Cori was so gracious with him, helping him find activities that he liked and made him feel at home. I am so grateful for this little school by the beach.”

“The jr high and elementary department of Fairmont is excellent! I cannot say enough great things about it. The jr high (and elementary) I feel, cares genuinely about their students and offers so much opportunities for them. We thoroughly enjoyed, and still rave, about this campus to everyone we know. Thank you HAC for being a foundation for my child, and all children, to thrive in. We really hope the high school follows your expectations”

“Prior to selecting a pre-school, I toured many in the area. La Habra Heritage was what I felt was best, in terms of location, staff and cost. My daughter had attended from 6 mos to 5 years, and I could not be happier with our experience there. Highly recommend this facility and it's amazing staff. We've graduated to kindergarten so sadly have outgrown La Habra Heritage, but we'll be forever grateful to everyone here we've met along the way!”

“My son has been attending Goldenwest Preschool since March 2022, and I am incredibly pleased with the experience. I initially chose this school based on a friend's recommendation, and it has exceeded my expectations. The facility is not only clean and well-organized but also thoughtfully separates kids by age group, considering their educational levels. The three teachers per room setup is a standout feature for me. It provides an extra layer of care and attention for the children. The communication from the staff is excellent, keeping us well-informed about any upcoming events or important updates. When my son was 2 and under Mrs. Jackelyn's care, she made it easy for me to leave him at school with her loving and positive approach. Now, at four years old, my son has three teachers, and Mrs. Rene, with whom I primarily communicate, is equally caring and nurturing. Her balanced approach includes necessary discipline, which I appreciate. I'm particularly impressed that she teaches sign language to the kids, and it's heartwarming to see my son coming home and sharing his newfound knowledge.Mrs. Amy who is the school director, has been immensely helpful, providing information about financial assistance programs. The Christian values instilled in the curriculum, especially the emphasis on love towards God, are of great significance to me. As a pregnant mother, I'm already considering enrolling my upcoming baby in Goldenwest Preschool. The dedication of the entire staff, including many unnamed teachers and faculty, has given me peace of mind while I'm at work, knowing my son is in excellent hands.I am grateful for the positive impact they've had on my son's growth and development.”

“A little over a year ago we purchased our family home in West Garden Grove. Simultaneously we were in need of a full time daycare for our 23 month old daughter and we happened upon Teachable Moments. During our initial tour we really felt welcomed by Miss Sheena and Miss Amy. We liked the small, intimate home daycare vibes that we got during our first visit. It fit our needs as our daughter was transitioning from being home with her grandparents. The pricing was reasonable, it was only a couple miles away from home and they were willing to accommodate our daughter's food allergies. We have been at Teachable Moments for over a year now and I couldn't be happier that we decided to enroll our daughter here. Her language skills have improved immensely, she is learning to read and write, and has developed so many gross/fine motor skills. Most importantly she is enjoying school. She is socializing and learning to work with her peers, which is so wonderful to see at her age (as she was an isolated Covid baby for so long). Our daughter loves her teachers. They are nurturing, caring, and facilitate growth and learning. They take the time to sit with the students and focus on their individual needs. Miss Amy and Miss Sheena have worked together for years and continue to do so. They are so committed to their students and you can tell they truly love what they do.”

“After coming across a disheartening review from another parent regarding one of my children's beloved teachers, I want to share my positive experience. Both of my kids are in Ms. Villaruel and Mr. Smith's class and they absolutely love going to school. Thanks to their efforts and Arborland's remarkable curriculum, my kids have made significant progress and grown both academically and personally. Ms. Villaruel and Mr. Smith both do a great job at creating a nurturing and supportive environment such that my kids adore school - in fact they are so sad the year is coming to an end! I'd also like to acknowledge my daughter's teachers from last year, Ms. Currey and Ms. Jardon - they were amazing and played a pivotal role in nurturing my daughter's confidence and academic progress. This is now our third year at Arborland and we are so happy with the amazing and dedicated teachers and staff!”

“We have had our daughter here for 2.5 years now and although they've been through some changes, they are a wonderful preschool with awesome and caring staff. My daughter has learned so much and loves to go to school each day. They have done everything they possibly can to keep our child safe during this difficult time. We feel 100% confident in their ability to care for our daughter. There is so much play and age appropriate learning, I highly recommend KOG Preschool for you little ones!”

“I went here from 1972 until 1981, from preschool to after school care. My 4 daughters went here as well as my nephews from 1984 to 1990 and from 1996 to 2008. I have such fond memories of all the teachers. I love them. The Ahrens family has created a safe environment. My children are all very successful and excelled in academics which I attribute to their time spent here in this loving but disciplined preschool. I only wish I lived closer so my grandchildren could get the same wonderful experience. I highly recommend this preschool. It is honestly the best in the area!! Hi Ms. Nancy!! And yes she’s the same preschool teacher I had!!”
