“The JBaby program has a variety of events to choose from and it’s a great opportunity to meet other community members and for our tots to socialize. My family especially enjoyed “the summer of fun” series where Dani + team setup an area near the pool with toys for the kiddos. I’m really impressed with the investment in the programming and looking forward to our continued membership post JBaby.”

“My son has been attending Kidz First for almost 2 years and we feel that it’s been one of the best decisions we made for him as a family. He loves ALL his teachers and staff, and most importantly, they love him, too. Everyone cares about each child and their classrooms are built for education and play.
Everything the teachers and staff do for the children is intentional, and it is evident when you walk into each classroom, see the work they bring home and even see how the playground is set up. I toured many schools and felt this playground was planned out very thoughtfully for young children.

They also help with potty training and teach emotional regulation.

I plan to put my daughter in Kidz First when she is at the enrollment age so I highly recommend Kidz first for families who want to put their children in a safe, super loving school. A bonus is that they are open till 6pm.”

“This church welcomes anyone with open arms! They have a website, gracefirst.org where you can watch their live stream 9AM services. The music director composed a beautiful 5 movement Christmas Contada. They cook and serve food and hold Third Street services to the homeless downtown. They have Deacons that are there for you personally. They have on-campus concerts from various artists and groups who entertain the Long Beach jazz, country, etc aficionados. They even went to help out in the Hurricane Katrina disaster, to the West Virginia backhills and even to Peru to help those in need. These folks really care!”

“First choice of school for BOTH of my girls. Honestly it’s more than just the school. I’m not sure how I would’ve navigated a LOT of school things and personal things without the LBDN West Branch and their personnel. Truly my first recommendation for parents!”

“My child started here in preschool. I loved it from the time I stepped through the doors. My child is now graduating highschool and she told me the other day how grateful she was for Bethany. She realized how much she learned that prepared her for highschool. Throughout her highschool years both teachers and classmates are astonished of how well prepared she was. “We absolutely love Bayshore Co-Op and recommend it to anyone looking for a parent participation school. The location is beautiful, the little ones get lots of outdoor play & Ms. Cori is wonderful with children. Our son was very hesitant to start preschool and Ms. Cori was so gracious with him, helping him find activities that he liked and made him feel at home. I am so grateful for this little school by the beach.”

“I feel so grateful to have found Great Beginnings! Our son didn’t have the best experience at his previous preschool and we were really anxious to find the best fit for him. After touring the school and meeting the owner, director, and teachers, it felt like a no brainer! Right off the bat, our son felt welcomed and loved. When asked about his new school, he tells us how nice his teachers are to him. I think this was the key difference we were looking for in a preschool; teaching, correcting, and guiding children with love versus frustration. “We have loved being a part of the LVCC Preschool community for the past 4 years. My son attended for 2 years, and my daughter is just finishing her first. The teachers are all very kind and loving and work with you to address your child’s individual needs. Mrs. Luyben and the school leadership anre also excellent at communicating about special days, activities, school needs, and new experiences for the kids.

The school offers fun after school activity days at least 2x each month, and they celebrate most holidays in creative ways. I have also been really impressed with the quality of the art projects, playtime, and learning of basic letters, numbers, and shapes.

I also want to note that, even though it is a Christian preschool and associated with the LVCC church, and we are non-Christians (but people of faith), I never felt pressure nor excessive Christian messaging. There was always a nice respectful balance of lovely Bible quotes and prayers, while respecting that our family was not Christian. The faith-based preschool is really expressed in their love and honoring of the sacredness of childhood. Which I love!

I am grateful that LVCC Preschool was my kids’ first experience with school! Definitely worth checking out for anyone looking for a kind, warm, creative, play-based preschool experience for their little!”

“Amidst the craziness of the Covid moment : whatta breath of fresh air. My experience with setting up, prepping for, and general anxiety has been overwhelming. Thank God for our city leaders instituting this process. This was way better/painless than I'd expected -- arrived 15min early. Personnel very helpful = process, smooth, quick, and results will be emailed in 2-3 days.”

“We have our son at KinderCare for almost 2 years, since he was 5 months old, and I can’t recommend it enough! The staff and teachers are kind and loving. They’ve eased our son into each classroom change as he grew older and always taken the time to build trust with him. The classrooms are clean, the food is healthy and fresh, and the kids are happy. Its 3 star score on Google is totally undeserved. This may not be the childcare set-up that suits you or your child, but if it’s the right fit, you’ll love it.”

“My daughter started at Limai the day the pandemic started in March 2020. She barely spoke English. She now speaks English very well, knows the good manner in English, and also started speaking Spanish since she is in the Spanish Immersion class. We are French speaking at home and we were looking for a play-based program with great attention to the child's identity. We love Limai and are so proud of the way they handle the respect of the safety rules for our community.
We love all the team, from the director who is welcoming all the children with a nice attention and caring for the well-being of everyone. The teachers who are really professional all the way to Miss Candy, the chef, who cooks a variety of food and expose our children to other flavors and recipes.
I had plenty of boxes to check before sending my daughter to school and Limai checked them all and more!”
