Had I great experience from start to finish I normally get my glasses from Costco but this year I had to get a stronger prescription and the glasses selection at Costco I didn't like my mom suggested Americas Best. Fast forward Costco played me because the very same glasses I wanted there that they said my prescription couldn't fit in I was able to get at Americas Best. The ladies were very professional let me take my time browse through a few different glasses until I was comfortable with the ones I wanted changed my mind a hundred times they were very patient. They explained what type of prescription I was getting and made sure I was informed and understood where the prescription was exactly in the glasses I love my glasses even though I have to take them back because they slide a little minor fix I love them ...

Stay away from this place plz and specially the one in Hawthorne 14300 oceangat ave ,all fake and mangers and employees are rude and mix of lies. JASON told me I have an unlimited year warranty to fix any damage happened to those glasses and I than surprised I only have one time warranty and a rude employee she doesn't know any respect wants to charge me 240 $ to fix it...iI don't recommend this company to no one (cheap frames and bad quality lenses..) plzz stay away ...Costco is the best place to visit

I ordered some sun glasses and when I say they bring out the pretty in me I’m not lying!! The prices are the best and you get exactly what you want everytime. Not to mention they do a great job finding your prescription! On top of all that the staff are very helpful and friendly !! Thank y’all.

My son Cooper needed new eyeglasses as his have been broken for quite some time, and we thought he could use the special goggle glasses for basketball plus needed new regular eyeglasses and Heaven help us if his father actually knew where to find his prescription. My mom once mentioned how great America's Best was, so I thought, "I'll try them out even though I have my own optometrist that I really love." So I went online and was able to make an appointment for the very next day. Super easy. The day of the appointment, we were actually running late, but when I called it wasn't an issue. When we arrived, everyone was all smiles and extremely pleasant. I love the open concept of the facility, and it's surprisingly much larger on the inside than it is from the outside, with cozy little nooks for sitting while you are waiting to see the doctor, as well as a separate section just for contact lenses. It was while we were in the office area with the optometrist -- I think her name was Janet (?), who was was super patient with my son (who is 12 and 3/4 if you ask him). While she gave him the exam I just nonchalantly asked about contact lenses, so we decided we would try that out, being that Cooper plays basketball every day. We saw two different eye doctors that day - and each was very patient and kind, taking the time to answer both Cooper and my own questions. We were ushered over to the Contact Lens area where a female employee helped us out. She was sweet and patient, but we couldn't stay long enough to successfully put Cooper's contact lenses in, so we left and came back the next day. It was on this day that we met the man who would change the trajectory of Cooper's basketball game and the way he views the world (pun intended), Jason T., or JT as Cooper affectionately calls him. Let me tell you. Jason is magnificent. He is so ridiculously patient as well as charming. The way he instructed Cooper to put in the lenses, "Okay hold you fingers like that....now look up, okay now closer, a little higher, okay closer, keep looking up...Oh! You almost got it!" This went on for almost an hour. And that was JUST the right contact lens! We hadn't even started on the left lens! But Jason was not dissuaded, he was persistent but patient, "I believe in you," were his words. We were briefly interrupted by a young man whose glasses had broken. "What you do now?" Jason playfully chided the young man, "Well I'll see if I can fix them, let me just finish up with them, leave me your number." I could tell that Jason and this customer have a good relationship, and I appreciated that Jason deferred to us in that moment, but still also assuaged the young man. About 40 minutes later, success! Cooper got the lens in. It was not easy. Cooper tried and tried and tried again, getting up to blow his nose, going to the bathroom, dropping the lens countless times. But through it all, Jason was like his number one fan, cheering him on, assuring Cooper that he could, and would, do it!Then we moved on to choosing eyeglasses. We were there for two hours but Jason NEVER wavered in his focus and patience with Cooper, not only encouraging him to try on as many eyeglasses as he needed (17!?!) but even recommending one in particular that he thought would really suit Cooper. I have to say. It was the most fun I have ever had at an Optometrist and I have been visiting them since I had to get my own eyeglasses and then contact lenses - so for the past 41 years! I am seasoned when it comes to eye doctors, technicians and eye care, and Jason is the absolute best out of all the people in this field that I have ever met. Cooper was so pumped and jazzed about the experience he said, "I won't go there unless Jason is there, and if he leaves, I'm going to follow him wherever he goes." I came into America’s Best at 920 and my appointment was not until 950 and they got me in and out. Their customer service was truly impeccable and welcoming. The entire staff was nice and willing to help me when I was a little confused about my insurance. Thank you to all the Ladies in this office that helped my appointment and my frame selecting extremely easy and great.

It was my first time going to American Best and Jason was amazing. I didn’t know what I was walking into and he explained step by step. He went out of his way to get me seen by the doctor instead of coming back another day! I loved his customer service, I’m bringing by husband next.. I am recommending my family and friends to go there.

First time coming here! Needed to get my daughter her first time glasses. Jason was super amazing! He was so patient with all my probably annoying questions and took his time to give me his recommendations while considering my budget. I walked out of there with TWO pairs of glasses and an eye exam for less than what I’ve paid for just a frame elsewhere! The Doctor, didn’t catch her name, but she was also very nice, informative and treated my daughter very well. We will definitely be back! Make sure you ask for Jason, you won’t be disappointed!
