0 out of 0. TERRIBLE, TRULY UNPROFESSIONAL. Teller Emmy charges me for a payment on my card has to void the transaction( on july 2nd) and I have had to run back and forth to my bank, to the quickcheck, to get copies and call and call getting answered rudely or completely being disregarded eventhough it was a mistake on their behalf. MATHEW the "manager" is no help at all unless it is you that calls him. it is july 26th i call for the millionth time. He says to call pls and place a 3way conference call where my cards teller tells him THE EXACT SAME THING I HAVE TOLD HIM OVER AND OVER. IT WAS THIS QUICK CHECK THAT IS STILL HOLDING MY FUND BECAUSE THE INCOMPETENT TELLER EMMY NEVER VOIDED THE TRANSACTION FULLY. DISGUSTING SERVICE. I AM A PARENT, A MANAGER, AND A STUDENT I TREAT EVERYONE WITH RESPECT BUT PEOPLE THAT TREAT OTHERS LIKE HAWTHORN QUICK CHECK MONEYGRAM DO NOT DESERVE RESPECT FOR TREATING PEOPLE LIKE THIS.The store manager has to pick up the mess and has a headache from this situation. He has tried to help me today july 26th. We both just want this dilemma to end.

After being the victim of account theft earlier in the week and as a result not having access to my paycheck for 7-10 business days (plus my car not running), I figured that the small surprise $25 settlement check I received would at least help me out for a while. Apparently Hawthorn Quik Chek has an insane policy that they will not cash checks that are over 10 days old. I'm not blaming the employees who have the unfortunate task of enforcing this nonsense, but this policy is totally unacceptable!

Holds mail when a check you cashed doesnt go thru their system and refuses to give my mail to me. Go somewhere else for a P.O box.

This place is absolutely horrible and I will not know until tomorrow I think may also be trying to take their customers money I went in today to cash Western Union money orders at a Western Union location which was this store or business when I went in there I handed them all necessary material and he then asked for the receipts with the money orders which everyone knows especially Western Union employees that the purchaser of the money orders so the individual who paid me with the money orders holds on to the receipts in case something happens and he needs to cancel or get his money back since I had sold individual a car and he paid me by mail with the money orders he sent the receipts with the money orders so back to me at the shop today or the Western Union store then employee Matthew Lopez asks for the receipts which threw me for a loop but if it was going to help my situation I provided him with the receipts he wanted to look atso after some arguing and him telling me that this branch of Western Union does not cash money orders whatsoever they only deal with wire transfer amounts I was upset ask for my things back since he had my ID receipts paperwork Etc... And I left when I got home I realized that Matthew Lopez the employee and manager of that franchise location gave me everything back except the receipts which if you wants to he is able to cancel the payment for the money orders and collect the $9000 worth of the money orders that was payment for a car I sold himself and reap the benefits of my hard-earned cash so I tried calling back of course they were closed I will remove it this post and take back the accusing statements that Matthew Lopez took my receipts on purpose and had malicious and illegal/criminal intentions with the receipts to my money orders if I am able to get them back or if I'm able to cash my money orders somewhere else and they go through and there is no cancellations that has been issued for the money orders and receipts that Mr Lopez was reviewing even though he specifically told me after reviewing they do not deal with hard copy money orders only wire transfers which is very concerning now that I think about it I guess I need to be more aware and assume that people at these franchises can use Western Union popularity and name and make their own rules and conduct business how they see fit since there is no standard I learned for the Western Union franchises anyone can purchase them and run it how they want under the name Western Union or simply make people believe that is a Western Union office or company when in fact they just use Western Union Services or provide them to customers. So as of now until I figure out the issue and make sure that Mr Lopez did not use my money order receipts for his own personal gain I would never recommend anyone going here even if I find out he accidentally didn't give me back my receipts connected to the Western Union money orders i still would strongly advise people to take their business elsewhere the manager Matthew Lopez didn't care at all that there were issues or that the task cannot be completed him like everyone else always blames the third party who of course is not there and can only be reached by 1 800 number in which they have no problem giving you and signing off the blame onto another person so that they don't have to deal with it horrible customer service and possibly illegal/criminal activity going on and until the money orders are cleared & cashed will not remove review and parts dealing with the manager Matthew Lopez I'll be calling Brighton early when they open to make sure my receipts are there for me and not thrown away or have been used in a malicious way

VERY GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE, VERY QUICK AND EFFICIENT, THE 4 LADIES ALWAYS SMILING AND ALWAYS WITH A POSITIVE ATTITUDE JUST HOW I LIKE IT, IF I CAN CHOOSE MORE THAN 5 STARS I WOULD I REALLY RECOMEND THIS PLACE... :)

Took them 50 minutes to try and fax 4 pages to Mexico and Failed, also wanted to charged $13. Poor customer service, Definitely NOT recommended!

It says in their advertising that they do pay day loans and when I called the representative was very curt and did not even give me the time to ask my question.
