Navy Federal Credit Union is the very best. They are very helpful at all times if you walk in with a problem, they have the wellness to work with you until it solved! You can have problem solved at night 24/7! There is a number you can call and there will be a real life person answering the phone! She or he will always have your answers for you, and if they don’t, they will find someone that will.Trust me, you can’t go wrong at Navy Federal Credit Union!They are the best and the safest. Rude and unfriendly. Never receive any kind of help or start up an account here.. especially from the bank branch manager David or the clerk Dimitri. Their very pushy and have an it's neither here nor there if I help you type attitude.. trust me those two men come to work looking for the right person to fight with... I'd say visit this branch if you want to fist fight an employee that day.. good luck to all who bank there cause I will not be returning.

MS. RUTHI have never been the type of person to leave reviews regardless if it was good or not but I have to say the lack of empathy from the manager herself Ms. Ruth was honestly quite unbelievable. A person in a position like that represent the company and shall be someone who is excited to represent Navy Federal. This is not the case for Ms. Ruth. You should always take the time to listen to the customer and never show your frustration through your words and actions towards a customer. Every person should be treated with some decency and respect, yet she continued to act as though she was in the right. My family came there to pick up a cashiers check I had called and ordered through the phone. My family is not familiar with Navy Federal ways which is understandable in any persons case. You always talk to the customer as if they are new because you simply don’t know who is right off the bat. My family told them they were here to pick up a cashiers check and had two forms of ID. When asked if I did it through the app my sister says yes I think so (because this is how I normally do it) and instead of telling her something along the lines of “unfortunately family get pick it up if she ordered through app but they can if it was through the phone “ simple as that right ? No Ms. Ruth proceeds to be unclear with her directions in what she tells my family next. She tells her “well she has to call” that’s it. Well of course they call me and I hear my family member trying to give her the phone and I hear her say “what is it ? What does she need ?” “No I need her here” then she finally gets on the phone and say “yes?” And I’m like uhhh yes you told them I needed to call and she goes “I just need to know if you ordered it through the phone or app” I said through the phone and she says okay great that’s all I needed ….well of course I stopped and asked well what was the confusion I’m so lost on why it resulted to this and why she had a tone with my family when they tried to give her phone. Altogether she withheld information from my family that would have made it much clearer what she needed to know. Had she have mentioned that there are two ways she could have ordered it then that would have helped my family make the decision to call or text me and ask that …instead she continued to say well she need to be here or she need to call but wasn’t even clear on exactly what the issue was. She mentioned nothing to them about the two options or how family can’t pick up checks ordered through app …nothing. This caused an issue with my situation because the very reason I sent them to do it was because I was held up in class. So I’m constantly leaving my class in order to try and get ahold of this lady who ended up being to busy every time I got on phone. My family spent almost two hours there for a simple miscommunication and lack of respect by Ms. Ruth herself. I never had a huge issue with Navy Federal until now. To make things worse that family member is an individual with a learning disability. This whole situation feels wrong and quite honestly is looking extremely bad for the company itself. Had she been treated like a decent human being in response to the issue at hand then this wouldn’t have gotten as far as it did. You talk to people with respect especially if they not disrespecting you. She handled it poorly and shouldn’t represent Navy Federal as their manager for this location.

This branch (Hawthorne) is very slow. If you need to see someone at the counter minimum 20 min wait . If you have to see someone in the "service" counter be prepared I've been here 48 minutes ... still waiting...

This location needs some serious management attention. The tellers, and the greeter, were pleasant, and the location looks nice and modern and well maintained. However, there was a great lack of decorum. It was very noisy inside. This branch sounded more like a raunchy bar than a banking establishment.I did not feel comfortable here, and I doubt I will ever come back to this branch. I drove an hour and a half to get here, because I had to conduct some business I couldn't do over the app.

Hate coming to this location! They can be rude at times. Not friendly at all. Very dry personalities like they tell them not to be nice. One guy was nice once, haven't seen him again.

There aren't many locations in the Greater Los Angeles area, so I came here. I'd called ahead first to speak to a customer service agent and wasn't told that you have to schedule an appt. They said to go to the bank in person. Then I went and was told there wasn't an available appointment until next month. I could call the same number I called before and ask them to help me. I asked if I could take the appt today if the person no showed, which they did. They weren't even trying to make it. I waited an hour, and they said I could only talk to an agent but couldn't submit a loan application today. The woman said I was checked in by when I arrived, and there were still two people ahead of me. The lines here are insane. There's probably 30 people in this bank right now and most are waiting to make deposits even though there's branch ATMs everywhere.

How can a credit card be misplaced?My credit card was sent to a "safe" place to prevent it get lost. It was delivered to the front desk, and they lost it; it was confirmed by costumer service. It is unacceptable. This is the third card request because it was never delivered to my residence, second one lost at this branch. We'll see this third one, the card will be overnight and I will check back on Thursday if they come back with another excuse.

This financial institution is one of the best. There rates are untouchable by any other financial institution. The home mortgage and vehicle loan rates are very low. Their CD rates have a great yield. There customer service is undeniable great. I am treated with great respect here. Being a member has been great for me and my family.

Navy Federal is a good credit union to belong to, there are many benefits to being a member and for the most part, the percentage rates cool but customer care questionable ..There is something in the air , everyone working here always frowns.

The service at this branch has been consistently dismal. There is ALWAYS a line of people at the two ATM machines outside. Either one or both of them are inoperable most of the times I visit. Cashier service is no better. Usually there is a long line outside the door to get in. Today there was a blistering wind that made the line particularly annoying. Tellers make the effort to be nice but they are clearly overwhelmed. Since they are so obviously busy I question why they don't hire more tellers. Could it be because of the neighborhood? One wonders if the service would be the same if this branch were in Palos Verdes.

not the best customer service AT ALL no respector of your time AT ALL. stop by checked in AND SOMEHOW i was picked over for service NOT ONLY INCE BUT TWICE. the desk representative FROM his desk yells out “AT ME” how he will be with me in a minute placed another person in front of me??? very sure the DID NOT have an appointment as they were behind me SPEAKING of how they DID NOT HAVE ONE while i wuz in front of them checcin in??!!! hhhhmmmm, long lines NO explanation as to why AFTER the 3rd person went in front of me i just had to ask WHY. was told it’s the end of the list typa thing @to authenticate myself. WHY EXACTLY WOULD I EVEN WANT TO BE A MEMBER after my grand fatha severed and THATZ THE MENTALITY and effort of becumin a member!!!

Very very rude staff. Even the manager. This was my first time in this branch. Never again. Everyone acts like they don't want to help the customers. They make you feel stupid. Won't be back.

I deposited $8018 in your ATM and it apparently Jammed and the ATM started shutting off and when it loaded up no funds were deposited into my account I let the manager know and her attitude was very ugly and she didn't even try to resolve my situation I will never enter this location ever again I wonder if I was white would it have been a different reaction probably. I see why the reviews are so bad at this location!
