As a local Hawthorne resident, I really like to support local businesses and reached out to SVT Auto Repair Solutions. I was having a problem with my 2016 Chevy Spark LS and was easily able to bring it in by messaging them on Instagram first. Brought it in and was immediately seen. They took my car for a test drive and did their checks. Turns out I needed a new clutch. They quoted me a reasonable price and had multiple options to pay. Even a payment plan if I was approved. Super great communication and willing to accommodate my busy schedule. My clutch parts weren't easy to find but SVT really kept me in the loop and sent me pictures and videos of the progress. I had my car back in about a week just in time to start driving back to my college campus. I definitely recommend SVT Auto for all of your car needs!

Horrible service got charged 450$ to get an evap fixed 2 months later still have the same problem try to talk to the owner got Pushed away said sue me if you don’t like the way I do business plz keep your money safe and away from this place DISHONEST UNRELIABLE UNFAIR mechanics it’s not about the money but the piece of mind

One of our vans needed some transmission work and Jose did the work for half of what we were originally quoted. The repair was timely, the staff were helpful and we are very satisfied with the service. Jose answered our questions clearly and in layman's terms, leaving us feeling educated as well. If you are having trouble with your vehicle and your looking for a place to take it, we'd recommend STV Auto Repair.

Jose and his team were very professional and explained everything that they did. We had them rebuild our transmission on our Eurovan. They did a great job and got us back driving at half the price of other transmission shop quotes. Highly recommended.

I always receive excellent service, and the prices are always fair. I had been taking my car to the dealership, but when my battery started to get faulty, they refused to help until the battery was completely dead. I was able to get an appointment at SVT without any issues, and the mechanic, Jose, was super helpful. I don't think I will ever go to a dealership again.

I had a bunch of work done at this establishment recently did my struts, brakes, a transmission rebuild that came out flawless and also a rack and pinion following a power steering pump and new tires all around ! Kind of felt robbed there. Took my car in running and got it back inoperable. Then cost something over $600 just to see why it stopped running. Told me I need I new transmission so gave the okay to order one. They didn't order one and then told me they the transmissions for my car are out of stock and I need to wait 1 month. I was left with a car that needs to get towed, $600 less in my bank account, and still no idea what they even did to my car. Needless to say I called other mechanics and they had no shortage of transmissions. They found the problem fast, got me a new transmission installed and running better than ever for half the cost of what I was quoted from this shop. Maybe other people had a better experience but idk. I wouldn't go back or recommend it.

I called and asked to speak to the owner to tell him how wonderful he was spoke of. When someone answered the phone and I asked for the owner the perks on just kept saying, “can I help you” and never mentioned if he was the owner or put the owner on the phone. The person then just hung up. Very rude and I wouldn’t spend a penny with them. Save your time and money and go elsewhere.

Im long overdue on this review… I’ve had my car back for about a month now and all I can say is that I highly recommend them. Truck runs so smooth. It was a big job replacing cylinder head gaskets but they explained everything in detail and were in constant communication! Best customer service ever! I have a 2015 Chevy Silverado & was having some transmission problems. Got a hold of Moses at SVT & he took care of everything. After he diagnosed my problem, he upgraded my torque converter & put shift kit. It is now like night & day, total pulling power now & I'm very happy. He gave me a 1 year warranty & now it has been a year & 3 months since the repair. No issues what so ever & will definitely recommend him to anyone. Now I'm ready to lift my truck & hit the gas!!! Thanks Moses!!!!
