I've been told by a few people that there is nothing around Hawthorne. When I arrived I didn't believe them and looked. There is literally nothing out here. As for the room and service. It's excellent. The breakfast buffet is really bad though ...

1st, thanks to Mai for extra mile service. My kids wanted to skip the hawaii trip when they saw the bunkbeds. Great suggestion.Nice Mariott. Clean rooms. Some fun options if you have kids like the bunk beds.We had to leave before breakfast so I can't rate it for you.Another nice thing. We've stayed at 3 Marriotts in the past few weeks and this was the 1st that we didn't have to seek extra bedding. All the others didn't come with enough. So kudos there too.

No other protein options!!They offer complimentary breakfast. However, the only protein was eggs. Well, if you can not eat eggs, then all you are left with are carb heavy options. I did bring that to the attention of the front desk, and they noted and gave me a complimentary upgrade. However, I feel like that won't happen every time. They need to have at least turkey sausage. Otherwise, I enjoyed my stay. I can only give them 4 stars

Convenient location - close to airport and SoFi Stadium. Nice rooms and free breakfasts. Nice pool and outside lounging areas. Staff is friendly and helpful.

The room's carpet was super dirty and stained, the shower floor and the kitchen floor felt sticky, we request to change rooms but they said they were all booked, we decided to all of us wear our shoes inside the room because of how discussed we felt from stepping in the carpet.

The only thing good about this place is the location. Check in time is supposed to be 4, however the front lobby was full of waiting customers until after 5... The patrons were not happy at all.The room was run down, stains on the couch and floor, ripped chair...Just a horrible experience, I should have read the reviews prior. Looks like many have experienced the check in issues.The front desk staff were very apologetic, and I do realize that it's not their fault. This is a management issue which needs to be addressed.

The hotel seems to be new but still needs some attention. We found the refrigerator in our room to be inoperative and had to switch rooms which was a hassle with the kids. The should’ve checked the room before they gave it to us.

The room was lovely. Patrick was very helpful. There were a few small glitches, but it turned out fine. The breakfast was a little sad compared to other properties we have stayed.

In May-June 2023, I enjoyed a month stay at this location, conveniently located to everything. I was displaced from my home due to a pipeline burst. Upon arrival noticed a spotless lobby and greeted by a very pleasant front desk agent. My suite was absolutely clean, inviting and comfortable, which I was so ready for. During my stay, I met General Manager Nicole Duval, Luis Santander, Director of Food and Jacqueline Mercado Director of Housekeeping. All three very polite, professional and accommodating. This property is well taken care, from the hallways, the Laundry Room, the Fitness Center, pool areas. How could I forget to mention delicious free morning breakfast served to get your day started!! Thanks for your great service. I enjoyed my stay and will absolutely refer this property

I only stay Marriott and am very loyal to brand. General manager here is top notch. Spoke to her today and they go above and beyond. Definitely recommend!

The hotel was OK, the staff was not very professional at the desk. The room was missing a lamp and outlet for my computer, making it difficult to work in the evening. There was also a light out in the kitchen, making it difficult to see. The breakfast was not on par with other Town Place Suites, almost unacceptable, really. As a platinum bon voy member, I will not be staying at this hotel again.Rooms: The maintenance at this location is not very good, the room was missing a lamp, outlets and it had a light out above the work station. The power went out in my room for several minutes as well in the evening.Noteworthy details: Unprofessional staff, the doors to enter the hotel were locked as well upon my arrival.

Five stars for Patrick Washington ?⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️???Arriving at the hotel, I was exhausted from a day filled with travels & exciting tourist fun activities.Having earlier been in panic from the possibility of making duplicate reservations,The gals at the front desk informed me somehow ALL my reservations had been canceled.The front desk staff, unfortunately, did not display much enthusiasm or eagerness to assist me, which only added to my frustration.Feeling overwhelmed, exhausted and full of frustration at now after midnight!!!I went to find a seat in the lobby, burdened with all my luggage and a sense of disappointment, to create a new reservation and inquire if somehow I still had an existing one somewhere at a different location!?It was at this moment that a kind and observant young man approached me, seeing me full of frustrationhe became genuinely concerned about my situation. He immediately kindly and professionally offered his assistance.Feeling a sense of relief and appreciation I made it a point to jot down his name!!Patrick WashingtonPatrick asked for my name and patiently explained that the hotel had two properties within the same location, which might have caused the confusion. Without wasting any time, he efficiently checked me in, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free process. He also took the initiative to call the sister property to provide me a sense of relief in confirming cancellation to my previously duplicated reservation!!Patrick's professionalism, kindness, efficiency and exceptional customer service skills were truly remarkable, leaving a lasting impression on me. ? ??⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️?

2 Star hotel that punches above its weight.We stayed here for a week while visiting LA. The hotel is fairly new being built a little over 3 years ago, and still feels new. Rooms were larger than we expected which was a delight. Beds as mentioned by others was very comfortable and we never had a bad sleep, however pillows might be a hit or miss depending on your personal preference. If you're picky, bring your own pillow. We rented a 2 queen bed room with a pull out couch bed. The sofa bed had little or no padding and wasn't very good. Added the sofa seats on top to make my son a comfortable place to sleep fixed that issue.Staff was very friendly and courteous, we had a issue with the garburator and there was someone at the room within minutes. This is fantastic service.Breakfast was no frills and will feed your childs stomachs, but don't expect anything fancy. Luckily there are plenty of breakfast options nearby if you don't like what's offered, that's what we did. With that being said, the coffee was fantastic and I drank it twice everyday. Didn't even bother to go to the nearby Starbucks, it was that good.There is a pool and hot tub outside which we used once, there was the occasional loud party out there, but that's expected with this hotel catering to families and kids. Speaking of kids, don't be alarmed if you hear sprinters in training on the floor above you, kids will be kids.There is a 18 dollar a day parking fee, but that didn't seem to bother many as the lot was almost completely full by 10PM each night, regardless of day. The area is quite safe with City hall across the street, and the Police HQ just beside that.Please note there is no Shuttle anymore, you will have to take an Uber or Taxi from LAX which will cost you around $25 each way.To the staff of Townplace Suites, to the maids, front desk, maintenance workers, and engineers, thank you, all of you were wonderful and deserve our thanks.

totally unacceptable! arrived at 2:30. understand check in is 4pm. it's now 4:15 and they are telling me 45 more minutes. the Taylor concert starts at 6:30. it's not like they didn't know why they were sold out or when the concert starts.

The rooms were clean and amenities were great. We didn't get a chance to try the breakfast because the beds were so comfortable that we didn't want to get up, so we were late lol.
