Rushed in to rent a truck, assumed I was going to the other location closer to my home. No biggie go into this business to pick up the rental. Asked few questions regarding the drop off. The staff there seemed annoyed or bothered. I asked the questions because while booking I saw the latest I can reserve a rental was 4:45 and it gave the option to reserve for a 2 hr window. Well the gentle man that was there working on a generator calls himself jumping into the conversation where I was inquiring about the return of the vechile not in a helpful friendly way. In a are you "slow manner." No sir, I didn't appreciate your behavior as a store representative you should know you signed up to serve customers off all colors. A part of me want to say this location is racist. If you are of color or minority stay away from this location. They are not people friendly. I wouldn't even rate them 1 star. Never returning to this location.

I called the local U-Haul in my area and I get a phone in Santa Monica which is about five or 6 miles away as my local U-Haul is no longer in business but it doesn't show this on yelp and the person I spoke to was very nice not at all affiliated with U-Haul but he didn't have any moving trucks for me-Not sure why U-Haul is still listed on Yelp that was disappointing

This U-Haul place doesn't communicate very well. They will charge your card instead of a pending hold fee and take your money, make sure you screenshot and have proof the money has been taken off your account. They told me I can have another card on file to pay for my U-Haul I had to use mine instead they lie and said over the phone I can use another card once I return the truck. Then I called and said they did charge me for the reservation fee the lady hung up on the phone and now not answering my calls. Do not go here if you want to deal with a complicated situation with this family own U-Haul place. I will never ever again.

The owner is a verbal abuse and she show me de middle finger . Just because I asked her to please get out of the store so I could show her what truck I wanted and what was the size ? But So rude .

Terrible! I did a reservation over the phone to get a hitch installed, 2 weeks before I needed it done and when the day came and went to get it, we never did! They didn't have us scheduled or even the parts to get it installed! They said they did t have us in the books and nothing they can do about it. So sad!

I would give 0 if I had the option. Prepare for the worst customer service ever. Rudeness 100%. Please go to another location even if its farther away.

There is a reason why the reviews are so bad for this U-Haul location. I was left on hold close to an hour and finally had to hang up and go to another U-Haul location much further from my house so in addition to the poor service I have to pay more money to get the same truck. Don't waste your time with this place their service sucks!

Easy pickup.Availability of the truck I wanted I couldn't get until 3pm. Delayed my move by half a day. I understand the shortages of vehicles on the west coast right now. Had to turn my move into a roundtrip. One way would've doubled my cost.

Do not use this place! We returned a vehicle in perfect condition, had it checked over and they said all was good. Hours later, got a call there was damage to vehicle. That damage was done in their lot, they charged another day rental and the insurance deductible! This place is a rip off. Should be a negative star rating.

Really bad service. Didnt let me leave my car and didnt let me do serverless drop off. So had to uber back. Absolutely no thought for the customer's convenience.
