I never feel rushed when I take my kitty to see him (and I’ve been taking him a lot since Dec 2023 bc he is battling FIP).The reception staff is friendly.My only issue is that there seems to be long wait times even when you’re in the exam room . This clinic seems very busy so I wonder if there’s a staff shortage (or maybe bc the doctors talk thoroughly to each client as I mentioned above). I’m usually there at least 2 hrs. In particular, our veterinarian, Dr. Antoun. He is so much more than a vet, he is so compassionate with us. When he speaks with us about our pet, he not only gives us a prognosis but always spends as much time as is needed for us to fully understand exactly what is going on with our pet and his advice on how to proceed. He also always calls with updates, asks us for our input, asks for our consent for anything he feels is necessary. Basically, he holds my hand from beginning until I pick up our pet, always! He is more than just a veterinarian. A true compassionate, caring man.”

I think that's brilliant. I still had to wait a bit - but at least I was able to get in. Dr Perez was GREAT. Everyone was so helpful, compassionate and very very professional. “I have been coming here for over 7 years, with a total of 6 different senior dogs over the years, since their old location. Dr Chung and Dr H are amazing, the whole team really is! They provide next level pet care at more affordable prices. Dr H's expertise led to efficient testing and diagnosis of Lymphoma is one of my fur babies this month and, upon my consent, they promptly ordered the chemotherapy, antibiotics, and steroids my baby needed rather than us going to a specialist which we simply cannot afford at this time. They have treated a number of conditions with my animals over the years. In fact, I found Dr Chung all those years ago when I had a senior rescue with a bleeding problem. 3 vets recommended putting the dog to sleep, Dr Chung immediately diagnosed her with a condition, put her on a medication, and it resolved the problem. That pet had over 3 happy years with us after that before passing from natural causes. They should recieve awards, truly the best care is at Little Tokyo Pet Clinic.”

If you love your pet, bring them to this clinic.I'm writing this review the day after our beloved dog, Lilu, passed away at this clinic. She fought for a month and a half, during which we visited the clinic often for surgeries, procedures, and other services. We are heartbroken, barely able to endure each day. But what VCA ASEC did for us is beyond words. We asked them for a paw print to later tattoo in memory of Lilu. They not only provided a paw print but also sent flowers to our home and prepared a condolence card signed by the medical staff. “I went In without having an appointment. My cockatiel was getting a eye infection due to getting caught on a rat trap . Luckily he wasn't hurt but he kept closing his eyes . I got there before they open to see if they could make an appointment if possible . They had alot of appointment already coming in . They told me they will try their best to fit him in possibly waiting 2 hours . Luckily it was maybe about 30 mins to tend to my little guy . I'm truly grateful he was able yo check him and give me the proper medication . He's doing so much better . Thank you to all the staffs . If I have another problem I will Definitely to back .”
