Banfield Pet Hospital is very lucky to have such empathetic, friendly, kind, and super sweet employee like Sherry.Our dog Daisy has unfortunately been diagnosed with a heart murmur and today the poor girl was having a coughing attack. I called Banfield in a panic and Sherry heard the fear and stress in my voice and squeezed us in to an already tight schedule. Sherry could have easily turned us away, but instead, Sherry took the time to listen to me and gave us a same day appointment. Thank goodness Daisy is ok and started her on medication.We're super happy with the service we get at Banfield. I want Sherry and Banfield to know how much I appreciate them. “I really like Dr Pan. He is very kind and knowledgeable and I feel like he really listens to my concerns. I never feel rushed when I take my kitty to see him (and I’ve been taking him a lot since Dec 2023 bc he is battling FIP).The reception staff is friendly.My only issue is that there seems to be long wait times even when you’re in the exam room . This clinic seems very busy so I wonder if there’s a staff shortage (or maybe bc the doctors talk thoroughly to each client as I mentioned above). I’m usually there at least 2 hrs. I think I’ve only been out of there within the hr one time”

“Alondra has been there for our pets always. They go out of their way to accommodate us. Especially when I call with a concern and they ALWAYS tell me to bring our pet(s) in. In particular, our veterinarian, Dr. Antoun. He is so much more than a vet, he is so compassionate with us. When he speaks with us about our pet, he not only gives us a prognosis but always spends as much time as is needed for us to fully understand exactly what is going on with our pet and his advice on how to proceed. He also always calls with updates, asks us for our input, asks for our consent for anything he feels is necessary. Basically, he holds my hand from beginning until I pick up our pet, always! He is more than just a veterinarian. A true compassionate, caring man.”

“On a Sunday I had to get my dog to an urgent care vet that had a vet working on a Sunday (not easy to find ) They have the option to put you on a wait list, where they text you when to arrive. I think that's brilliant. I still had to wait a bit - but at least I was able to get in. Dr Perez was GREAT. Everyone was so helpful, compassionate and very very professional. I highly recommend this place”

If you love your pet, bring them to this clinic.I'm writing this review the day after our beloved dog, Lilu, passed away at this clinic. She fought for a month and a half, during which we visited the clinic often for surgeries, procedures, and other services. We are heartbroken, barely able to endure each day. But what VCA ASEC did for us is beyond words. We asked them for a paw print to later tattoo in memory of Lilu. They not only provided a paw print but also sent flowers to our home and prepared a condolence card signed by the medical staff. We cannot express our gratitude enough for everything they did for us and our dog. We know they fought with us to help us get through this.From the bottom of my heart, we love you, VCA. “Amazing Service!! My dog is a very scared baby when he sees any vet. He's the dog known everywhere to snap at people lol. He went in to the exam shaking and came out calm. That's when I knew Dr Tsugawa was great energy :) I warned Dr Tsugawa's staff prior to him going in for the exam, that my dog may not let him look in his mouth but Dr Tsugawa was the only person my dog has ever willingly let look. My dog had dental surgery today. I dropped him off at 10am. Around lunch I received texts from Dr Tsugawa of the the X-rays and his thoughts. He phoned soon after to clarify and see if I had any questions. We went ahead with the procedure. I received a text as soon as my dog was awake and normal around 12.30pm. At 2pm I picked him up. He was alert but a little unwell, as expected. Dr Tsugawa came out to speak to me, his staff clearly and slowly explained the medication to me and I was good to go home. I liked that Dr Tsugawa only wanted my dog on one medication for a few days for the pain/swelling rather than having a bunch of medications, which other vets always seem to prescribe after surgeries. The entire process start to finish was so smooth, clearly communicated and my dog is now at home resting and on the mend. Even at home I texted Dr Tsugawa a few questions and he responded promptly. I want to thank Dr Tsugawa and his team for the great service. I have already recommended you to friends.”
