“Can’t say enough about Banfield in El Segundo. Wonderful option for the general, daily care of your pets. I’ve been coming here for years and they’ve always done an amazing job with all three of my kitties. In fact, I’ve always had the same vet the whole time I’ve been coming here which I believe is at least seven or eight years now. Highly recommend them if you want quality care at affordable and, for me very importantly, predictable prices…. I’ve never walked away with an excessive or shocking bill. The team always explains everything as well as all the options. I’ve always felt that my kitties received the best care and have always been struck by how much the vet and the staff really have gone above and beyond to show how much they care about my animals as well as me the pet owner.I really can’t say enough about how much they eliminate some of the stress and cost of pet ownership in such a caring way…”

“Outstanding vet care! Everyone from the front desk to the vet techs are always on top of things, listen, and go out of their way to ensure we’re taken care of. I transferred my dog here after he was diagnosed with diabetes, I didn’t feel his previous vet clinic was doing enough for him since it had been months and we couldn’t get his glucose managed. Immediately after switching over to Dr Nawar, my dog Dexter improved substantially. He was energetic and playful again, glucose is controlled, and he just seems like his old self again. Dr N takes the time to have a conversation about options and encourages a collaborative effort on my dogs care. I can’t thank the team here enough for their dedication, attention to detail and AMAZING customer service! I bring both my dogs here now and it’s the best decision I’ve made for them.”

“We lost our precious 13-year-old girl, Sheena Marie, two weeks ago. Our amazing vet handled her final moments with us, and Hearts & Halos took care of her individual aquamation and ashes from there. We got her back this week and I am completely blown away by the care that went into everything. The handmade biodegradable paper urn with her name on a little wooden heart, the engraved paw print keepsake, the plantable seed paper hearts, and her beautiful certificate. Every single detail was thoughtful and gorgeous. We don't have a yard just yet, but when we do, we'll bury her urn and let her ashes nourish the earth. Her soul is already out in the universe, and someday she'll help grow something beautiful too. For now, she's back in her favorite corner of the house, right where she belongs. “My 3 cats have been coming here for years. A few months back my oldest boy needed some serious dental work done and I was very worried about the whole process. It wasn't cheap (surgery for a pet *never* is, that said they're about as low cost as someone can be operating a veterinary business in SM) but I was so happy with the level of care that my cat got, and the continuous communication from the team throughout the day kept me reassured.
He's since made a full recovery and is a very happy kitty again!
Definitely planning on continuing my cats' care here!”

“Vet visits can sometimes feel stressful, but this is one of the few places that immediately makes both humans and pets feel more at ease. Every person and pet I encounter here has such a genuinely calm, happy, and welcoming vibe, which feels great for a veterinary place.
Our first cat fam, Clem, has been coming here for about three years now. We first brought him in as a stray we had taken in, and I still remember how kind, patient, and supportive the staff were during that experience. As someone navigating the uncertainty of helping a stray cat for the first time, their reassurance and compassion meant so much to me.
I can say that because of that experience, we recently brought in our newest family member- another rescue unhoused community cat, and the staff were just as wonderful as they were/they have been. They were calm, knowledgeable, patient, and incredibly understanding while answering all of my noob “new cat in the house” questions.
It’s rare to find a place that consistently treats both animals and people with so much warmth and kindness. I’m genuinely grateful for the care, compassion, and support this team has shown our little family over the years. “I can't say enough about the amazing team at BARC. My senior French Bulldog Kirby goes for physical therapy and acupuncture and they have provided top notch care. She recently had an IVDD flare up and bounced right back which I believe is due to the care she has received during preventative PT and accupuncture sessions. It's amazing to see my dog getting bursts of puppy energy due to the program here. Everyone on staff is always so perceptive to the pets' needs as they evolve. Dr. Streiber went far above and beyond for our family during one of the most gut wrenching experiences we’ve ever faced with our dog, Silver. From the moment we received her osteosarcoma diagnosis, he treated us with extraordinary compassion, patience, and honesty.
Dr. Streiber spent multiple hour-long phone calls with my wife and me, carefully explaining Silver’s diagnosis, the possible progression of the disease, and the various treatment options available. He never rushed us, never spoke in vague terms, and never made us feel like “just another case.” Instead, he took the time to truly educate us—so we could make thoughtful, evidence-based decisions that felt right for Silver and for our family.
