Worst service at the pharmacy, don't waste your time, go to South Bay pharmacy for your medication needs, BUT, this place is great for getting discounted groceries! Don't miss out on that!

Pass by this location dozens of times but never stopped in. I enjoyed my look around the store and I was also very impressed at how I was able to find different items with ease. Self checkout was easy to understand and use. The only complaint I have is the keypad is a little bit more exposed than expected and don't provide the needed privacy for imputed pin numbers. Sandra was one of the employees working the self checkout and she was very helpful without being self assuming. Vianca an employee who greeted the customers on their way out was very observant. She noticed that we had carbonated water in our basket. So she made sure that we knew about some new carbonated water that was on the market that made interest us. I would definitely return back to this location. Parking wasn't a problem, finding our items wasn't a problem and very superb customer service.

I had to fight for employees to let me use self checkout. The machines for 25 items out more were out of service. That's not my problem. I hate going through the cash register because cashier's are rude and they throw all my items on the belt. It's just an awful experience, every time. They watched me do my whole transaction and one of them had they're phone camera pointing at me. I f****** hate going to Walmart, but it saves me $$$.

Today, 6-9-2021 around 5:45pm .... My mother & I had to endure a verbal attack from another customer .... The other person was being verbally disrespectful to both my mother & I; (us following procedures) he kicked our shopping cart back like 3 feet saying that we were violating his 6ft .... Clearly we were father than that .... What bothered me was that the clerks(workers) stood around & did nothing, the security guard was no where in sight... (Yet the other person was being very loud: & by the looks of it because of certain actions; he would of literally become very violent) .... The altercation left my mother in tears, she couldn't react; I couldn't speak nor do much, given the fact I have a speech issue and also on disability for having gone through brain surgery... I heavily do not recommend this store.... Why recommend it; if the employees won't stick up for their clients??

Came to this Walmart Neighborhood Market to get a few items. Went straight to the frozen food section. Terrible selection. They have no more than 2 flavors/varieties of any frozen item. But mostly one. If you like frozen pizza in pepperoni flavor and another one in sausage, chances are they will only have 1. Headed to the junk food aisle. One or two varieties of Little Debbie, Hostess, Keebler, etc. wtf is going on???? They got Little Debbie Oatmeal Pies. So I got that. But no Little Debbie Honey Buns? No other Little Debbie products? Go to the can goods area. Looking at the soup. One or two flavors. Bahahahahahahaha. They dont have s&$$! Ive been to several Walmart Neighborhood Markets. Never experienced a maximum of 2 flavors/varieties of a brand. Then I went all the way to the south end of the store to get some daily face wash and body wash. They were locked in cabinets. Great, I pressed the red button. Took about ten damn minutes for some employee to finally come get the $4 and $3 face wash and body wash, respectively, out the locked cabinets. In between that time, I was requesting help from team members who appear to have been doing nothing but walking around the area. It still took ten minutes for someone to open the lock cabinets. By the time someone came, they just gave me the $7 totaled items. Not sure why they were locked in the cabinet. Giving it to a shopper who asks for it is not a great theft deterrent move. Might as well leave it out so a person wont have to wait ten minutes just to put the bs in their cart. Finally I made it to SELF-CHECK OUT. Proceeded to scan items with handheld scanner. Walmart team member invaded my personal space just to offer unsolicited help at SELF-CHECK OUT. She was telling me that I can use the hand held scanner to scan bulky items AFTER I was already using it to scan EVERYTHING. Then she asked me how many bags I want when I was entering the damn number of bags before she asked me. Uh this is SELF-CHECK OUT. If I need some assistance, I can easily press the damn button that says "call for assistance" (Im paraphrasing).. She was annoying af.

At 905 pm the manager closed all the self serve checkouts.. Went down to one register. I just needed two things. By the time I got to the register at 910,i was 7th in line. With full carts ahead of me. I just put my stuff down and left. Also, she informed they were closing at 10pm instead of 11 when I asked why was the front door locked at 857pm. I had to enter through the exit. And one guy was wearing his mask below his nose. One boy working there said they were short staffed to explain the registers closing down, but I don't believe that is a legitimate reason. I'm not one of those customer is always right kinda guy. But it makes no sense to piss off your customers like this. After I put my stuff back around 9 13 she decided to open a register. But trust me, there's no reason for the whole bad service from start to finish. I just asked a guy in the parking lot, why they lock the door, he said they have less staff at 8 pm. Guess, what, other stores do the same thing, but they at least put visual cures like doing carts blocking the doors inside and out. Or a sign! You can do better walmart!

Cannot say enough positive words about the people working at this location. Whatever you don't readily see in ample view, they will locate for you on the spot. This is the result of a good group of diverse persons all working together that 100% benefits the patrons. Small wonder this location constantly appears bustling. Don B, Brian L and others on here with self-serving comments based on a lack of funds and parental attention; go back to the place with the red "bullseye" logo who ran you two off in the 1st place for shoplifting, you petty losers with petty issues.

I truly wish I could give negative stars! WALMART IS HANDS DOWN THE WORSE COMPANY EVER! I had ordered a tv and it arrived busted. It took 20+ minutes to get to a customer service rep then it took 3 days for pick and then ANOTHER 4 days to get my replacement tv!!! BUT the when the replacement TV showed up a week later THAT TV WAS BUSTED TOO!!! I highly highly highly RECOMMEND NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM WALMART OR SAMS CLUB! I can not express the HATE I have for them! Billion dollar company just craps on the little man! With or without me they're going to make BILLIONS and continue to spit on the common man!!!!

This is not a SuperCenter; it is a Walmart that only sells groceries and household goods. Nevertheless; it still is a 'one-stop-shop' for everything you could need for the week! It is located in an easy to access shopping center and is highly-staffed; full customer service center as well. This particular location has well over a dozen aisles of every food choice you could possibly hope to need and then some, simply said. Yes; there is grocery delivery now. The times are changing. However; you can never replicate the true feeling of going grocery shopping with your own two hands; & really inspecting and debating whether or not this particular product is something you will even use, or end up in the bins on trash day. The store was spotless; everyone was wearing masks and there were disinfectant stations scattered practically through every other aisle. I have zero complaints about this place and have shopped here when in the area for the last four years now.

I had the most horrible experience at Walmart located in Hawthorne, California. The head of security who was racial profiling targeted a Black Elderly man. The elderly man look to be in his eighties and retired. The head of security detained the older gentlemen and escorted him to a door. I followed him and his partner and requested of them not to harm the senior citizen. I was standing in a line with about 10-12 people ahead of me. After about 20 minutes the door open and the older gentlemen came out. I walked him outside and inquire of him was he okay. He said, "he had all his receipts", in which it appeared that he purchased some small items. The head of security approached me in a very hostile and aggressive manner and told me to mine my business and to leave his talk. He called the Hawthorne Police and they came to Walmart and told me to leave the store. The guy who is head of security had no valid reason to handle me in the manner in which he did. He should be held accountable and not allowed to work in a security position.

Do I have to give stars here? Terrible store they are always missing things on the selves, today it was the cooked pork ribs and the darker pumpkin loaf bread. Ya, my favorite bread was sold out. The management is horrible if they know that item sold out why they don't stock enough to assist the community. It's a common sense in business administration correct? Please do it right. I had bad experience again with this American corporation another addition if you have to return anything be aware that the line is huge and the employees works in slow motion to make you give it up your return! Just ridiculous store procedures

Let me just say the gentleman working in the meAt department today 9/20/20 at around 11am gave exceptional customer service! I didn't get his name because I was rushing out the store. He went out of his way to find me in the aisle to Let me know they actually had tritip sirloin. When I was there 15 minutes earlier it wasn't there. I appreciate that!
