They, some how find ways to charge you crazy amounts after you return the car. Even if you return it the exact same way. Take pictures before and after you return it - both inside and outside, both video and pictures. Including the mileage before and after you return it.

Budget is usually my go-to rental company for business needs - but this location is incredibly unprofessional (and shady!). First, when I arrived on location, there was some random guy hanging out in the lobby, just chatting with the man behind the counter. I waited for five minutes, as they both ignored me. When he finally decided to help me, I was told they "had no record" of my reservation (despite offering the reservation number and email confirmation). The man at the counter insisted I must have booked it last-minute - I offered the reservation number and confirmation again, showing it was reserved it more than ten days prior. He then asked my name, told me that he *did* see me on his list for pickup - then proceeded to argue the details of "my" reservation (dropoff address, etc), telling me I must have booked it incorrectly. I continued to show him the email confirmation including all of the details, and questioned whether he was looking at the correct reservation. He was not - and even called me by a different name. When I checked him, he reversed everything he'd said, and told me he *did* have a record of my reservation, but it wasn't active - it had been cancelled by corporate, and I'd have to book it again. As we were talking, I suddenly received an email cancellation of my reservation. (Not at all suspicious!) He then proceeded to rebook my now-cancelled reservation, insisting that I needed a bunch of extras (at a greater cost, of course). I was told it is "against policy" to pay for a reservation on my business credit card, with an employee listed as the driver (the driver was there with me, and we've both done this many times before). He refused to complete the booking without listing me as a driver (even though I would not be riding in the vehicle). He also insisted that my insurance policy would not be sufficient - so I had to call my insurance broker to have them verify that the policy would cover the rental, in order to avoid excessive charges. He was visibly annoyed that my insurance was sufficient, and made a scene about making other customers wait, while I made the phone call. He then handed me the vehicle inspection form to sign, though I hadn't seen the vehicle. I insisted on inspecting it, and went outside to find a complete wreck. Every single panel of this vehicle is dented or scratched - the trim is ripped off one side, the roof is creased, the bumper was bashed in, and it's filthy. (I snapped a few pics, for reference - but the video I took shows so much damage, it was too long to upload!) If this wasn't for a timed delivery, I'd have simply walked out - but pulling last-minute shenanigans obviously allows them to take advantage of folks stuck without other options. When I questioned the condition of the van, pointing out that there were several others on the lot which were also available, he had the balls to act personally offended. Unfortunately for me, too much time was wasted to do anything but take the wreck I was assigned and send my driver off in a damaged vehicle, of questionable condition. Oh - but he made sure to tell me (in a very condescending tone) that "should I have issues, roadside assistance information is on the back" of my rental agreement.BEWARE THIS LOCATION. GO LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE.For all this hassle - I also ended up paying more than my original reservation. I can't imagine how anyone could give them a good rating - their 5-stars have gotta be fake. This location is straight up ripping people off - I'm just bracing for the false charges I'm sure I'll need to contest, afterwards.

When I asked how much for a rental with a AAA discount, I was told $353 for a SUV, for a car it was $2 cheaper. I walked out and went straight to the airport and got a premium car for $198.03

Was returning a truck for my friends who had to catch a flight. The guy working the counter started out kind but seemed frustrated after he helped other customers ahead of me. Interaction deteriorated significantly once he'd finished helping theand after trying to make a connection and getting awkwardly shut down by him, I began to feel very uncomfortable. Waited in silence outside for the receipt for a good 7-10 minutes where I honestly thought he was ignoring me completely. Ran outside once the transaction was complete to call an Uber and get away asap because the creepy meter turned on being a woman alone with a man in an uncomfortable situation.

signed the car out 10:25 said return was due back 10:20. Was late they charged 85.00 plus the insurance for the whole day that i purchased for one day. The toll crossing they charge 13.00 on a 6.00 dollar toll fee. Look for other rental places that have more flexibility when it come to returning the car late less than an hour. When inflation hits these companies become ridiculous and unethical.

The car that was given to me was filthy the seats were filthy. The gear shaft, window buttons and handles were filthy like the inside of the car had not been cleaned/wiped at all. When I informed them they offered me another car which was even filthier. I looked at about 4/5 cars and they were all nasty. Due to covid and covid protocols I couldn't believe that this was how they were renting out cars. I'm 7 months pregnant and was not taking the risk. On top of each car I was assigned being dirty I had to walk back and fourth to the counter about 3/4 times the last car they assigned me wasn't even in the spot I was told it would be in after spending about 5 minutes looking for it and then having a staff look for it. She came and said the car was already rented out and they had to give me another one. That one was a bit cleaner than the rest but had a lot of miles in it. Overall I was very disappointed with my experience this time around with budget rental car. On top of that I was charged a $250 deposit plus the amount of the car which was new to me because any other time I've rented from budget they only place a $200 hold on my card if the rental anoint is under $200 and once I return the car it's released and the amount is taken. If the car amount was over $200 they're would charge the amount of the car never have I been charged $250 plus the rental car amount which is the policy when your using a debit card which I was using a major credit card. The lady at the front said that it has always been that way since she's been working the past 2 years, which I have rented from budget about 3 times In the last 2 years and never was it like that for me. Pictures that I took don't show how nasty the vehicles actually were. I didn't think to take pictures until the last vehicle.

Wish I could give zero stars and wish I read these reviews before I booked my rental car! WARNING...avoid this place at all costs! I will NEVER rent a car from Budget again! My flight to Oakland was 52 minutes. I stood in line for a hour to pick up my rental car. It took longer to get the rental car then the flight. Then they did not have the car that I reserved 2 months in advance. Staff was mediocre and no one was apologetic for the lack of customer service. Get your rental from some one else. Lesson learned. Never again. Budget sucks!

Rented a car that had low tire pressure on the front right side. Kept refilling it and thought maybe the sensor is broken. I called in and the lady was super nice and told me I can just go in and exchange the car.Fast forward a month, they charged me for the flat tire

Okay this place is perfect for my brother’s with them bad credit issues, so straight up, if you got a pre pay card, Bank ATM card, and you got the money on the card, your home address must match the card, boom you got a rental car. Cheap and great deals believe that!!!
