Dr. Mangat is very responsive and thorough. My only complaint is the price of medications.

I have an American Staffordshire Terrier. He generally does not like men upon initial greetings. We've tried other vets and he growls at the male Dr's with aggression and makes it hard for them. He loved Dr. Mangat at first sight. They say dogs are a great judge of character and my dog loves Dr. Mangat. He is great and prices are fair. ✌️

Short version: very small office, brusque staff member (not sure if reception, vet/tech, or both), and a bit unkempt; 3 stars because this is clearly a small business that's been in business a long time and I'm sure they try to do their best considering they're still here--Full review:We are, admittedly, picky about where we take our pets and we both agreed we wouldn't be comfortable with this vet, though we didn't end up actually using them at all.For convenience, I'm sure this vet is fine. It's a bit tucked away and small, seemingly a one-man-show office. They have two separate doors/reception (cat side, dog side) with a small reception desk connecting them and a couple of seats on each side. The ground outside would easily burn paws on a hot day, like any cement, so that's important to keep in mind with dogs as there's really no shady path to the door.We had scheduled an appointment for a single vaccine (our usual vet had it on backorder) and scheduling alone was short and rude via phone. I let it go because I know most offices, especially small ones in bust areas like this, are typically busy. When we came in a few minutes early, no one was at the desk and it seemed quiet. We rang the bell and it must not have been heard. At our scheduled appt time, we waited (expecting someone to come out, knowing there was an appt on the books) but we ended up ringing the bell again. This time, someone came out and greeted us. Very curt, no nonsense. We ended up leaving because we would've been charged for a wellness visit that our dog had only a few months back at his usual vet, which I had already explained on the phone. Perhaps this was an off day or something but the whole interaction was off-putting as the person went through our paperwork and had us fill out a paper form, etc.Another thing that made us uncomfortable was all the paperwork and patient files right up front at reception. I understand it's a small office and space is limited but if you don't intend to have someone at the front desk regularly, what's to stop someone from coming in and grabbing those?I think if the interaction was more friendly/personable at all and the office showed a little more care, we might've reconsidered but bad vibes all around made the decision for us.

DO NOT BRING YOUR ANIMALS HEREPLS READ AND OTHER COMMENTSI took my cat here and the doctor kept trying to get me to do so many unnecessary things done and then trying to charge me $650. I kept telling him I didn't want them and I only wanted a deworming medicine. They ended charging me for thing I didn't want. ALSO I HAD TO GO BACK BECAUSE THEY CHARGED ME FOR DEWORMING AND DID NOT GIVE IT TO ME. I forgot to mention that also that place smelled and looked dirty.PLS LOOK AT OTHER REVIEWS.DO NOT PUT YOUR PET IN DANGER.

To support my close friend, and his son/pet of 15 years, I drove them to this veterinary clinic. After a series of ailments and lack of healthy progress, they were planning the unfortunate process of letting the pet pass on. My friend had an 11:00am appointment, and on the way over, the pet passes away in the car. We arrive at the clinic at 10:54a, and no one is at the hospital. The sign says, 10:00am, the online time says 8-6pm. We wait, because perhaps they were just running late. 11:07a comes around, we have to move our pet out of our arms and into a box where we ask for one from the auto shop in front of the clinic. 11:15a, and we've called 6x, emailed, and texted. No reply. We decide to care for our deceased pet on our own, google a crematorium nearby, and leave the clinic unassisted and quite angry. My friend, called after we took care of end-of-life things, and they responded saying they either forgot to put in the appointment, or we made a mistake. I finally get a call back at 7pm, and no apology for being closed during the advertised open hours, or not responding for 8 hours, or condolences. This is client neglect, malfeasance, and detriment of care. I would rate this business 0 if I could. Please do not take your pet here if you care about them, and want consistent care from a business and care facility.

Do not take your pets here at all. We made appointment for my cat on a Tuesday and Doctor didn't come on time. We had to bring him back home and scheduled back on Thursday. The vet said cat had low temperature and he wanted to sedate and do x ray, blood and urine lab. He then prescribed pills but didn't explain what they were for until asked. Well they were to remove water in lungs but he could have given more details as to why he prescribed those pills. We paid $767 for all this and never heard from them again. Upon calling back on Monday, the staff says she will call me back , then again I called back and again she told me they have the result and she would call back. Well guess what, she never called back and has to ask vet for every little thing. Around 8p I call back and the vet answered. He tells me he needs to go to another computer to check and puts me on hold. Then tells me he will call back later or tomorrow. They call back on Tuesday saying they lost his blood sample. How can you lose the lamb samples?????? This ended us costing me to lose my pet. These vets are quick to take the money but don't do their job right. It's all about corporate greed and they show they care but they don't. Probably never took blood and urine sample to begin with and pretended.

Our kitty 15 year old was sick but we were not aware how sick she really was. Dr Mangot assessed her condition and did what he could to help her stay as comfortable as possible. Sadly she passed and they were very helpful in taking her remains for cremation. Thank you Caring Pet for helping.

No comment. Well..... As a business owner myself, I'm just going to be completely honest. Customer service is number one in my books. That's all I'll say on that matter. I am not in no way shape form or fashion. Trying to tear down another business but customer service is key and I hope they read this.

This place doesn't even deserve one star actually this place should be closed for good. They killed our dog and said that he ran away. The owner is full of s*** even his family that works with him are all in it I don't know what they actually do in there or if he lets his kids give vaccinations to the animals that are left to be babysat. When the vet showed us the room where they kept our dog and other animals it was a laundry room with no windows and it was literally humid in there. They had two other dogs in small cages that looked scared and was making noises. The cage they put our dog in was at the end which was also blocked by a hose. The vet told us that someone found our dog and wouldn't give us information on who and where and we told him that's our dog and that we will call the cops he finally said let me go check and when he comes out he laughs and said that's actually not your dog this dog was found last year. So to be honest I feel like they are having us run in circles looking for our dog and not telling us what really happened. If you guys want your pets to be safe please do NOT bring them here pay extra or something and take them somewhere better and not this shithole of a place.

Small but nice place. Really helpful with answering questions and took care of my baby well after she got spayed. Cost came out to 566$ but it came with cone, medication, bloodwork and IV. Not bad just a bit expensive.

I love this place. He had been very kind to my pets and is very reasonable. If I have a question which has been a few times he answers them over phone never trying to make unnecessary appointments if not needed. I wish we would of found this place sooner.

This place is the worst pet hospital ever they are very negligent, I had gave my dog to them while I'm out of the country and they lost my pet, then to make it worse they call me a week after to tell me they couldn't find my dog. I don't even think they tried to find my dog. I'm so furious because they are located on mission blvd and industrial which is a very busy street with cars going 40-50mph. Never use this business or trust this business with your pets. No body calls from the hospital apologizing or gave me any updates, they don't care. They need to be shut down! When I go there to see what happened they gave me a BS excuse saying the dog must have unlatched the cage and ran away, that's the most irresponsible and BS excuse ever! I have attached a photo of the lost dog his name is fluffy if any one has happen to see him please call me 510-755-1633 my name is Ron. Thank you
