Convenient to downtown. Friendly service and never much of a line. Parking lot in the back always has lots of open spots. Convenient to downtown. If your going to cash bars you can come here just a short walk for the ATM. So many businesses these days love cash. Thats suspicious. Friendly service. I like how its always the same lady at the same window. I think I remember her here since 2016 when I opened my account. If employee turnover is too great its never a good sign. I like this bank since they don't nickel and dime you to death. These days with high interest rates banks treat customers very well but back when this bank wasn't very greedy with fees. I sometimes get a phone call from a personal banker which is very 'fancy' as I don't have all that much cash here. I guess just enough to get recognized as a valuable customer to get the red carpet treatment. Parking lot in the back is huge. I usually don't use it as I just walk here.

This is not about a physical location of Citibank. It is online banking. My accounts were locked today. I was on the phone with Citibank for three hours and the conclusion was that there was nothing the technical team could do to provide me access. They told me to go to a Branch. I don't think a Branch can provide me access to online banking when there is something going on in the system that is not letting me access my accounts. The technical dept told me that there was nothing blocking my access. They tried to help me re-register, but those attempts were blocked by Citibank.com. Tried the app on my iPhone, Safari on my Mac, Chrome on my Mac and finally Safari on my iPhone as well. Nothing worked and the rep finally told me to go to the Branch. I will go to the Branch tomorrow. Meanwhile, I cannot access any funds I have at Citibank. Luckily I have accounts at other banks, but if I did not....I would not want to even think about it. Horrifying situation. I asked for a ticket # or case # so I could call again later. The rep told me that there was none to provide. I asked her for her manager - she said he was not available to talk on the phone. Does anyone else have a similar experience? Completely locked out of online banking - Phone and browsers.

Poor service. For a wire transfer, I wait 15 minutes to see a personal banker, then I see, he said he is busy and asked me to come back in an hour. I drove back home and returned again to the bank to see him to do the wire transfer, he was sitting inside and tell another teller asked customer to comeback in one hour. I went to another bank nearby and in 15 minutes, they took care of me with a happy face.

Is Citibank of Hayward waiting on somebody call a teller is obsolete I've been in this bank for over 20 minutes I have something important to do I've had an individual that works as a manager to stare at me and I need to make this review so we can have a clear understanding about what happens at the Hayward City Bank thank you

Worst customer service ever you can get I’ve seen McDonald’s employees with better customer service I have enough money to buy their bank, I’ve been a customer for over 15 years this is how they treat me. I asked them a simple question where the atm is and they gave attitude it was trouble to them just to show me where the atm was. I came back inside asked if I could withdraw cash with apple pay the lady with blonde hair messed up teeth and the Asian lady gave attitude again rolled their eyes and said no. Never coming back here again. If I was a first time customer based of those 2 I would never open a account with Citibank.

This is the worst Citibank branch in the state.....maybe in the whole country! The tellers are extremely unfriendly and rude. Sometimes they pretend to be nice by asking stupid insincere questions (like "How's your day going?" as if they really care) it comes off as phony and rehearsed. It's obvious that they are only doing it because someone told them that's what they need to do. They are slower than molasses in January. Stop asking me d*** questions! Just shut up and pay attention to your job so that I can get the H*** out of here! It seems like every time I go in, they have another new arbitrary policy. I feel like they are making stuff up as they go along. One teller will frequently contradict what another teller has previously said. I've been told that certain transactions can only be done at their ATM's! Really! What's the point in having tellers if they are trying to push you to use their ATM? What can an ATM do that a human can not? I guess they hate their jobs so much they are begging to be replaced by a machine. It's just as well - they act like unemotional, disinterested machines anyway. I wouldn't hire any of them to sweep my floors.
