Worst pharmacy EVER. Wanted to get a COVID test on drive through. Reached 10 mins early. They said come back after 10 mins even though there were no cars no waiting (behind me in the drive-through). Their job is only to hand over the test packet and then the test is taken by oneself, yet the people in the pharmacy counter at this CVS DO NOT GIVE YOU THE TEST if you arrive 10 to 15 mins early. Another time, a friend landed up 15 mins late and they said he will have to wait and come back in about an hour (60 mins) as he had missed his time slot. The two ladies are the RUDEST. Secondly, a review posted 2 months ago stated that this CVS pharmacy never gave their results on time. This is ABSOLUTELY right. Even if you take the test at at 10 a.m., they only send out the test for checks in the afternoon or evening, therefore YOU NEVER GET BACK THE TEST ON TIME. CVS management needs to school the people in the pharmacy for being a little more accommodating as people can get slightly late or arrive slightly early. They must also make sure the tests are delivered as per the stated time so that people who are traveling at least are not inconvenienced. TRULY REGRETFUL HOW BAD THIS PHARMACY IS.....

One of the worst pharmacy that I've known, I called the pharmacist due to a very expensive medication and seems that my co payment is so inconsistent. Waited for over 20 minutes over the phone, talk to a pharmacist just to tell me to call my insurance and immediately hang up the phone. So rude and unprofessional. I rather take my prescriptions somewhere else.

Called the pharmacy a couple weeks ago. Just now leaving a review after redownloading Yelp. The Lady on the phone was BEYOND rude when I was asking questions. She was mocking me to her coworker in the back and didn't think I could hear her. She then started huffing when repeated my question and basically didn't want to be at work apparently. Beyond rude and zero customer service. How can you degrade someone on the phone to your coworkers and think we can't hear you?

I had an inhaler called in to have filled. An inhaler I need to breathe... this was going to be a one time pick up and rather than helping me Ron the pharmacist told me they didn't know how to bill my insurance... ok cool ill call my ins. And she tells me what to tell him... he stood there rolled his eyes and said " well that could take days" " just go back to San jose where they can bill your insurance". I was stunned angry and having an asthma attack, rather than letting me pay cash.... i drive an hour to get my meds. I like the women in this pharmacy but Ron could have not been lazy, he could have entered my insurance as a new vendor ... he didn't feel like it... i could have died, wrecked my car, hurt someone else etc all bcuz he didn't want to take the 20 mins to enter the insurance. Horrible little man

Well, they don't let me put my bike in there anymore. :( However, their staff is professional and I like getting my meds here. I get free $5 coupons which I spend on their v8 juice. THeir chee-zits are good, too and they have regular sales. I like the amt I can get. I used to be able to sit there enjoying some snacks first after paying

Management has zero respect for customers. I I asked to use a restroom while waiting for prescriptions. The two people on staff in the pharmacy told me to go to grocery stores that required driving. My disability prevents me from walking that far. Parking lot is separated from all joining lots as well, so you have to waste gas to get in with the ridiculous street layout in the area. I hope this one goes out of business. Don't use this one.

This is one of the better CVS stores in the neighborhood that is rather in a somewhat safer area than the one on Jackson Street where Safeway is. That being said, this is a lot better than most CVS Stores. ~Positives~ *Employees are friendly *Never is too crowded *Official UPS Access Point so you can have your packages here. *Pharmacy for your Prescriptions ~Drawbacks or Negatives~ *Seems all CVS Stores try to get you to sign up for their card, unknown if they have to meet a quota of sign ups or not *Overpriced items, $6.89 approx for 20 tablets of Liquid Naproxen caps not very budget friendly where at Lucky's you can get 40 for a comparable price (almost the same?!?!) *Even with a sale, it still seems very expensive for many items *No hand sanatizer, TP or other essential items here but you know why *UPS Package desk looks a little cluttered with lots of boxes from my observation.

I will NEVER step into a CVS again. I had an emergency inside the store due to the medications I am currently taking medication and was told by the Manager that they are only for employee use because of theft by others. This from a store that sells medications to people who are already taking medications and are likely to have these diarrheal attacks inside this store. Never again will I give my business to ANY CVS store. You guys suck at customer relations because you are more concerned about theft than customers.

I get all our prescriptions here, and often stop by to pick up household items while I'm running around. Easy downtown location, one way streets and Hayward Loop notwithstanding. The pharmacy is sometimes understaffed, but they do make time to help with any questions and have gone above and beyond in some cases. Almost all the staff is very helpful and pleasant, but I wanted to give a special shout out for Lauren. She always, always, always has a kind word for everyone and brightens our day every time she's working.

One cashier running the register and handling the photo department. A recipe for madness. The line was unnecessarily long and the cashier was trying to make jokes and be witty but I found it slightly off-putting. Sometimes customers want interaction and other times they want efficiency. In this case, I guess I preferred the latter more than the former. I asked the cashier to page someone. Her response, "They got me doing 5 jobs at once." Smh Welp, all of us in line understood her plight and so we tried to laugh along with her and patiently wait our turn. Bless her soul!

This review is for the pharmacy and not CVS as a store. The only reason I come here is because it's in walking distance of my house. I get the vibe that this pharmacy is disorganized and careless. My dermatologist faxed them 3 prescriptions last week, but I only received a notification for 1 prescription. I called the pharmacy to ask if they've received the other prescriptions. Whoever answered the phone said they only received 1 prescription for me. My dermatologist's office faxed the prescriptions 2 more times and still nothing. I called the pharmacy one more time and this time they said the prescriptions were invalid because they didn't include my DOB. So why didn't they tell me this was the issue the first time I called in? I work in the healthcare/biotech field and know it's the pharmacy's job to communicate with the doctor's office if anything is wrong with their prescriptions. It's frustrating that my treatment is getting delayed because of their careless actions. It's not only bad customer service, but dispensing medications should be taken seriously. If possible, I strongly recommend going to the CVS pharmacy inside of Target in North Hayward. The service there is much better than this location, especially if your prescriptions are for something more serious than acne.

Lauren is still hilarious, and recognized me from the few times I have been in here to snag movie candy or whatever else. I still prefer the Rite Aid pricing (aquaphor and easter candy here was like $12.00 ouch) but since this place is so close to my house, I'll go there. Seriously, upon entering, Lauren turned around with both arms stretched to the sky and welcomed me. I am so glad the employees here have a good sense of humor, good attitudes, converse well, and aren't miserable.

Cheerful greeting upon entry - very pleasant and helpful staff. Clean and newer store - with some good sales... but of course the most popular things with the best prices sometimes are out of stock. Came in for some laundry detergent - and was guided graciously by a pleasant well spoken lady working there. I can never find anything and have spent more time than I care to share looking for things in stores. I appreciated the help. Found some free and clear stuff that was an off brand. I usually use a long heated wash cycle with some bleach and borax - so I suppose I could do without the best stuff. Also found what looked like some house brand, "total home" dish washing pods. I like pods because its quicker than sprinkling detergent that gets everywhere. At home I currently have these name brand platinum ones that seem so good they create too many bubbles in the dishwasher. Some of the best deals aren't on the shelf. Was looking for Ritter Sport and they were all out. Checkout was a breeze. A second register opened just for me. I mostly have good interactions with people - usually you get what you dish out - but the people working here went above and beyond.

Can we say Ghetto? All the coolers seemed warm and when I asked 'am I able to buy cold beer from a cooler' the woman literally said 'I don't know, can you'. Really?? I made my purchases and asked to use the restroom and was told 'we don't have one for just anyone to use'. My bad LOL. Dirty and messy. Super rude employees. Yeah yeah, I get it, it's a CVS but jeeze.
