David has been my insurance agent since I was 16 and I am now signing my kids up for driving insurance! It has been over 40 years of providing guidance for life, home, car and umbrella policies. I deeply appreciate his integrity. He is an honest and helpful listener. A standout experience for me was his help during my house fire. I called him that day and he guided me to cash and a place to stay with my then young children. David then showed up and helped to alleviate my shock and fear and get us lodging that night. I am not sure what I would have done without him or my policy at that time. I will never forget it.
I have stayed with David because he is loyal and fair and I am grateful. I have had good experiences with Statefarm's responses to a claim. Most recently, when my car's windshield was hit by a rock driving on the freeway, causing a chip that was expanding, it was an easy claim and fix.
If I could give David 10 stars I would. He is an exceptional professional who goes well beyond the scope of his job. He has encouraged my teenagers to review the safe driving videos he provided and followed up with a phone conversation and pertinent questions. Sadly, this is very rare now. So, I recommned you go with David and you feel and be much safer!

My State Farm agent David Pena is a careful, astute, and knowledgeable representative of both me and State Farm Insurance. He has watched over my policies for years and given sage advise. He quick to respond to inquiries and requests for assistance. He has been totally trustworthy. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a caring insurance agent.

Though State Farm’s slogan is “Like a good neighbor,” David Pena is more “like a good brother.” He is warm and caring as he patiently explains the fine points in insurance and the reasons we might (or might not) need various endorsements. We have relied on David for over 30 years; he has guided us through car and house insurance, life insurance once we had a family, and changing needs now in our retirement years. He is thoroughly informed about updates in insurance options and current news impacting insurance trends, such as the recent wildfires. We consider ourselves lucky to have found someone we can trust completely to have our best interests at heart.

David, thank you for everything you do! You have been my dad’s agent for many years and mine for 20+ years. You’re expertise and guidance with insurance coverage has been invaluable throughout the years, especially as I’ve gotten older and my family has changed. I don’t know who can call or text their agent after hours, but I know I can. Thanks for always being available when I’ve needed to talk about insurance, life, and even personal matters. I’m an emergency physician who has had David as my SF agent for over 25 years (probably more). He has always been there for me. He has provided invaluable guidance and suggestions for the sometimes confusing but right insurance products for my situation. And my situation changed frequently including divorce, moving and job changes over the years. Life changes that David understood and has always been mindful, kind, and compassionate about. Excellent professional and very personable and friendly catered customer service built on years of our relationship. David understands our insurance needs and explained to me thoroughly priorities and steps we need to focus on for the safety of our home.
Regarding auto for our cars we examined what is needed and what is unnecessary according to the auto's age. We are seniors and are contemplating life insurance and getting everything in order for end of life decisions. I appreciate the time David took to go over everything and detail our options along with a follow up email.
I am a big fan, and highly recommend David Peña services for all your insurance needs, especially during these precarious times–whether it be fire, burglary, or earthquake.

David has been my parent's State Farm agent for as long as I can remember, and when I went out on my own, he was there to guide me through each new stage of life and its increasing responsibilities. When I was a renter, he helped me set up a renter's insurance policy, which proved to be invaluable during the CZU fires in August 2020. The fires devastated over 80,000 acres of land in Santa Cruz County, destroying all of my property. Through that challenging time, David stayed in touch with me every step of the way, and State Farm took care of everything.
Now that I’m married, own a home, and have kids, David continues to take care of us. We have such peace of mind knowing that if something were to happen, State Farm will cover us. David is truly incredible—he's always prompt with communication, personable, down-to-earth, caring, and trustworthy. I can’t recommend him enough!
