Eco Thrift is a popular and organized thrift store in the Bay Area, with another location in Sacramento. It is described by many as the best or most inexpensive thrift shop in the area, packed with people and offering a huge selection. The inventory is heavily focused on clothing, but also includes typical household items like coffee makers. Many find great gems and appreciate the helpful, friendly staff who keep checkout lines moving and offer color-coded discounts. However, some note it is a more expensive type of thrift store, with items perceived as better brands being marked up. A few find it somewhat or so overpriced, citing high prices on non-special brand purses and occasionally ridiculously priced items. The store also sells new, unopened candy and snacks. Shoppers recommend having a game plan due to the large selection, and note that items without a sticker cannot be purchased.

Loved our visit during the Holiday Sale (Dec 13). So many good choices at 50% off except red tags and new retail items. Parking was full at around 3:30pm. Check out was pretty fast at around 5:30pm. Thanks, Eco Thrift for the nice stuff I got.

I like this place. A LOT of fabric there today, endless racks of clothes, kitchen tools, toys. I thought the prices were reasonable. A very big store with narrow aisles and a little disorganized. I got a big bag of fabric for my holiday projects for $23. Many of the tags were discounted by color 25%/50%/75% off.
