I usually find good stuff here but pricing has began to increase and employees are very unfriendly and overall unwelcoming environment. Just went today and was stopped by security suspected of shoplifting and performed a bag check on me. I watched one employee watch over my shoulder through the reflection behind the self checkout and he watched me scan every single clothing item in my cart yet I was still checked. I understand there may be a protocol but I felt it to be uncalled for as a frequent shopper here, not sure if I will continue spending my money here after this experience.

I avoid leaving a bad review but this was a Horrible experience and I tried to contact eco thrift but no one has responded.
I spent 141$. I was having the best day ever shopping but was accused of shoplifting, a $3 umbrella by the manager Matthew. I was shocked, I immediately apologized and offered to pay for it, no. Offered $20 for it, no. He told me I was banned for life and I needed to get help. He said he took my picture, if I ever came back I’d be escorted out. I insisted to buy the umbrella that I really wanted and to make this whole bizarre situation right but to no avail. I reminded him I spent $141, why would I care about 3 more dollars? I asked for another manger to get a second opinion and he said he is the manger. I’m very frustrated. I used to love shopping here.

I don't recommend this place to anyone the prices are ridiculous and the employees are very rude, to be honest your better off going to the mall to spend your money because the prices are the same, the only difference is this is suppose to be a thrift store. Don't waste your time please

Been coming to eco thrift for over 8 years. It used to be such an adventure to find a good gem in this pandoras box, now it's cheaper to go to target and Walmart for something brand new. Not worth coming anymore. Prices are outrageous for donated and used items. A basic tshirt used to be $0.99 and often discounted by their weekly color system. Now will be $2.99-4.99, for something as simple as a target brand kids shirt.

Found one thing I was interested in. We're walking into the store felt like walking into a prison or some other kind of internment camp. Everything's chained up barred up. Just very unwelcoming. Also their prices are grossly overpriced I saw a Sega Master system for $70 untested no controllers no power cable know nothing. Definitely not worth the trip.

Everyone on the staff is very helpful & friendly. Love Eco Thrift. It's my go to for various items. I gotta say? It's the best thrift store in the entire Bay Area, There's also one in Sacramento.

used to love coming here but now they’ve tripled prices on clothes and doubled prices on cds which i usually come to buy as a hobby. it seems like they have security checking items due to people swapping tags, but if they didn’t want that they should price their items reasonably.

Hadn't been in recently. Parking lot was unusually open, then I went in and saw why. Lots of damaged goods priced higher that retail. Management issue.

This was my favorite thrift store for years. Now it so overpriced for everything. I saw many purses for $25+. No special brand. Took the fun out of going there.
