EDGE Training Center is located in Hayward, CA on Mission Blvd near A Street, with ample parking. It is a clean and well-maintained 2400 sq ft space with over 1000 sq ft of mat area. The first class is always free. This gym provides a fantastic Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu experience. Safety is the number one priority and is evident in every class. The culture is both welcoming, supportive, and encouraging, creating a true family atmosphere. The environment is comfortable, safe, and motivating for students of all levels. It is an ideal place to decompress, connect with great people, and learn a helpful skill. The gym offers a regular schedule of BJJ, Muay Thai, MMA, Judo, and Wrestling classes throughout the week. All the instructors and coaches are awesome, humble, friendly, attentive, and communicative. They provide top-tier, quality, and thorough instruction, fostering a supportive learning environment where students feel welcome and can progress quickly. The training partners are great, and sparring can be as relaxed or intense as desired. Everyone is respectful, ensuring a comfortable and fair experience for all, including women in the male-dominated space. The vibe is amazing and challenging in very good ways, making it a great gym whether you want to compete or not. EDGE Training Center is highly recommended for anyone starting or continuing their martial arts journey.
Highly recommend EDGE! I did a trial class as I was curious and wanted to try BJJ. Not only was Al and his brother very welcoming from the get go, all the other students were supportive and offered tips.
Al stresses safety first above all else but also going hard and putting in the effort. Hell of a place.

Al is an amazing teacher and a skilled practitioner he's also very friendly was helpful to me and other beginners and in teaching us good bjj.
