everytime i need a freight pickup from these people they tend to always wait till the last 30 minutes to pickup.were open from 8-5 and theyre literally a 5 minute drive away. only reason i know its this location is because the number for this fedex is the only one given to me by support.so i wonder does it really ned to take 8-9 hours to pickup one pallet 2 street lights away?? at this point after this pickup i will no longer place with them .it seems they dont care to get paid or have a job to begin with.

Terrible! 80% of the time, anything out of this location is delayed and NEVER on time. Stick with UPS. What happened to FedEx?!

Delivery drivers constantly fail to deliver packages to individual apartment units and I have had multiple packages stolen when left in the front lobby. My customized delivery preferences and the address label state to deliver packages to my apartment unit # but these are ignored. UPS and USPS always deliver to my apartment unit # without being asked and are the better option.

I have literally used parcel delivery services in third world countries that were more reliable than fedex. I don't know how one company can fail at every conceivable, and inconceivable, turn, over and over, and over and over, and over again.

I write this review while I Wait for primadona dispatcher to send a guy out to for a will-call dock pickup. I’ve been waiting for 1 hour 15min. This is my second experience like this. When I come in the morning for pick ups they tell me to come in the afternoon. When I come in the afternoon for pick ups they tell me to come in the morning. Am I a tennis ball?

While they take credit for a broken crate, they are slow, usually 2x the time as quoted due to trained personnel and driver shortages throughout the frt. business.

Stole my sons friends PlayStation5 Said it was out for delivery. They assured me all the way up till 15 minutes of the last of the night delivery said they lost it since the day before. FedEx opened up a investigation haven’t heard from them since. Shady place shady business Sticky hands and it’s acceptable at this Hayward facility

Driver allegedly attempted delivery three times. Not a single door tag left. I was here all day, refreshing the tacking details, opened the door at 4pm, nothing, sat in front of the two windows surrounding the door, suddenly receive message that final attempt was made at 4:12pm. Are they walking up to random doors leaving door tags or just not bothering to get off the truck?I'd love any proof of a door tag because they couldn't have all three flown away randomly.

UPDATE: It happened again a week after the original post. This time it was VERY expensive round custom business cards. I ordered the cards two weeks before a large seminar. UPrinting guaranteed 2 day shipping allowing plenty of time for delivery. Needless to say they were in transit for 10 days. UPrinting reprinted the 1000 cards and sent them via UPS per my request. Unfortunately because they are speciality round cards the print time takes longer than normal. I received the UPS set before the FEDEX set. Unfortunately they didn't arrive before the seminar. My package has been held hostage for 10 days. Customer service refused to transfer me to a supervisor and has continued to lie about my delivery date. Three different days it was out for delivery only to get notifications each of those days around 3pm saying no pending delivery date. I was able to speak with someone on 9.8.2020 who said it was at the fedex location in a container but he didn't know when they would open it. But, it was out for delivery on 9.4.2020 how is it possible to be in a container with no estimated date that the container will be opened on 9.8 but out for delivery 9.4.2020. Lies lies lies. If I could give FedEx a -10 rating I would. 1 star is a huge understatement. I hate this location. Read their reviews for this location on their website all of the reviws will support my claim.

I used FedEx Freight to ship/receive a large item. Due to corporate work-from-home policy, I needed to receive work-related items directly to my residence. Since the package is time-sensitive, I called MULTIPLE times to ensure that I was scheduled for a delivery and the representatives confidently assured my that my appointment is on the manifest and I'd receive a call first thing in the morning. Day of expected delivery, no call came and the item didn't arrive.I called AGAIN to follow-up and the receptionist at the Oakland branch told me the number I was connected to multiple times (the 0440 number listed as the contact number for the Oakland branch on the FedEx Freight website) connects to people who have no way of looking at the delivery manifest and that there was never any appointment on file. There are a couple of things wrong here that I'd like to point out for anyone looking to work with FedEx Freight, especially in Oakland:1) The contact numbers on the FedEx Freight website are INCORRECT, but the people on the lines will assure you that they are the right people to talk to. They will give you confirmation of a delivery appointment and put you on hold to check/update the manifest, but apparently the people in whatever department that the call is forwarded to actually have no access to that information in the first place.2) I should have received a call to schedule or confirm delivery if indeed my past calls were handled by the wrong department, but this was not the case. I never received ANY correspondence about my delivery so I obviously assumed that the appointment I created and confirmed was valid.3) The cost of residential delivery for a large item is very high (same cost as white-glove delivery for an entire truckload of furniture) but the packages are given lowest priority in scheduling (appointments are 9am to 5pm -- the entire day) versus commercial delivery which have a 2-hour delivery window.4) The wide time windows for residential delivery (9am - 5pm) are very rigid and are intended to limit FedEx liability instead of actually helping to coordinate delivery with the customer. The receptionist made it clear that recipients have to make an appointment before the item will be loaded on the delivery truck, even though the appointment slots are the ENTIRE work day. If the recipient is not present at the time of delivery (whenever that may be within the 8 hour window), he/she will be charged a redelivery fee. That's a horribly one-sided and inconvenient commitment.I would recommend using another service for large-item delivery. Large deliveries require accommodations so timeliness and communication are critical. One of the reasons to pick FedEx in the first place is the assurance of a large company with reliable delivery routes and complete tracking information. I am really disappointed in my experience -- my time was wasted on the phone to not even receive the package on time.
