Nice clean location (much better and bigger than prior location) Easy to locate in mall (located across from Shoe Palace and next to Sheikh) Exterior door is not open (must go thru mall to get into store) They do not sale plus size in store (only one rack which are all returns)

The worst shop. They did not tell it is final sale item they billed and they don’t exchange or accept return. Such a horrible shop. I am never gonna buy any of their stuff anymore.

Crappy retailer. Can't return any items unless there's a receipt and tag attached. H & M, Macy's, Ross take returns without receipts. Their cashiers aren't trained properly. CA consumer law 1749.5 states clearly if you have $10 or less in your store gift card and the customer requests cash back the retailer is obligated to give the cash back to the customer. I contacted customer service twice. Never emailed me or return my calls. If they have good customer service they would've addressed my issue and tried to make a wrong right. American Eagle Outfitters responded quickly and refunded my money. If there's a zero rating I would give this company that rating. This is how this retailer shows respect to their customers!!! Glad I used up my gift card (small balance) as I washed my hands clean with them, a real monkey off my back. No wonder so many stores closed, just read the negative reviews. I read many.

I went to this mall yesterday to go to the store Forever 21, first off I thought the mall open up at 10am they didn't open the stores till 11something, so people was just gathered around the door tell they opened it. Then when I finally got in, I spent 45 minutes hand-picking each item for a birthday gift. then when I finally get up to the register the young lady tells me that they only accepting cards, and honestly I thought that she was trying to get me to sign up for a card, because she didn't go into detail on why they was only taken cards. So I pulled out cash, then the lady told me they didn't have change, they couldn't accept the money. so I asked her if I gave her exact change could she do it? She told me no. and didn't give a explanation. So I left out of the store all disappointment, didn't know what to do next. So I went to my car and call the store and ask them was it just today or everyday that they couldn't accept money? the young lady told me that it was only for 10 minutes, that I could return and get the items. So i did. My whole thing is why was they going to let the store miss out on a sale and a customer, all because they were too lazy to explain the situation, at least to me. I was about to drive all the way to Emeryville to waste gas and energy. Good things I decided to call and ask a question. Just feel like the whole thing was a little unprofessional they need to have better communication with their customers. Don't be so quick to have a shopper, that's trying to patronize the business leave the whole mall only for a 10min wait. Just feel like the whole thing was unnecessary. Just thought I'd share the experience. Do better on giving reason to paying customers.

I rarely shop at Forever 21 now and my recent experience at the Hayward store reminded me why. The incompetence of the staff is ridiculous. It’s truly the blind leading the blind. Management has no idea what they are doing, so there’s no hope for the rest of the staff. I see this one closing down soon like the emeryville store. Save yourself the headache and just shop online or at another location.
