Do not go there!!!! Ray is a con artist, Ray is a thief . It seems like a good place when you walk into the main house...don't be fooled it's not by any stretch of the imagination. People live in squalor in his houses, in extremely crowded conditions unfit for human habitation. Not only is it run by a piece of shit but most of the residents are loaded and stealing shit without consequences. That place is a sham/ just a moneymaker disguised as a place that "helps" people.....complete bs

15 people in unkempt rooms in an unkempt house. Management will not hear you out and when they do it’s extremely unreasonable. Do not go here. If you have ANY issues with anyone it’s met with immediate aggression. Best of luck

The biggest saddest joke of a recovery umm place. People do not leave from here for a better place, they're kicked out behind the drama resulting from the next to nothing management. Filthy, loud, disruptive, negative, just don't go here unless you absolutely have to.

I am a client at Lifehouse recovery homes. it's hard to believe all of the opportunities I have had at Lifehouse. Ray Prieto the program director has helped me and countless others not only a wonderful place to stay he has also found jobs for us. It's like living in a fraternity with all of us heading toward the same goal, a sober life. I stay in a beautiful home in a residential neighborhood, right by BART and other public transportation. I highly recommend life house and all that it offers.

I lived in one of their homes for 1 year. I would recommend to check it out in person beforehand, as I found out their website is a bit misleading. They state its a shared room. This is most likely not going to be a shared room with just one other person. in fact, there are up to 8 people to a room in some houses. I was lucky and got a shared room with only one other person, but its the only room in the house and its still a bunk bed setup. Altogether there are 18 people crammed into a tiny, approx. 1200-1400sq ft., house with only 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Upon moving out this month, I found out the hard way that if you move out before the month is up you do NOT get a refund on the remaining days. Even though I gave notice that I was moving before that months rent was due, the "operations manager" Ray, refused to work with me on this and was quick to point out that the intake form states there are no refunds on client fees. I would also recommend asking for a copy of the intake forms that you sign upon move-in, as it is customary for them to not provide you with a copy. This really confirmed to me that the bottom line is money with Life House, and not helping and supporting the clients transition back into the community. Which is disappointing being that website claims they are a nonprofit organization that provides a compassionate, supportive environment to live. It also goes on to state that the owner opened Life House because of his passion to help others that are suffering from addiction with nowhere to go, which may have been the case years ago, but sure does not seem to be the case now. On a positive note, I found that most of the residents were nice and welcomed me into the house. They too seemed to share the same concerns and frustrations with Life House though. Hopefully, the owner reads this and decides to get involved in the day to day operations of Life House and makes some much needed changes to better accommodate and support current and future residents.

Life House runs its homes with an inexplicable amount of compassion, love, and dedication in order for its clients to revive themselves in a safe environment. They're a huge part of my story and my heart. The house that brought me back to life.

I absolutely love and am completely grateful for Life House. With the stable, structured environment I was able to continue to grow and maintain my sobriety. Reunite in a most positive way with the family. I received the support and most importantly the love of a family, at Life House. Diane, my house manager, is such an amazing person and she gave me the guidance I truly needed. I am forever grateful and recommend anyone who is looking for a little guidance in a healthy environment to go to Life House.

I'm so grateful for Lifehouse, I live in the women and children's home and I was welcomed with open arms to a loving, safe environment for me and my daughter. I have been able to learn to trust and build relationships with other women, and have so much support. I've been able to make my one year sobriety date here and keep growing in my recovery.
