This is the worst company ever. They overcharged me for a unit they should have never sold me. They do not ship the 12 foot units across the country but knowingly did so with me. They knew I was moving to Florida from California but never said a thing when I ordered the 12 foot unit. I wasn't informed until I arrived in Florida and found a home. I called them to set up shipping to my new location, and that's when they dropped the bomb. Their system defaulted the shipping cost for that container at a whopping $25k when all the others were around $8k. It took them months to get this fixed, but in that time, I was accumulating lots of monthly storage fees, so the small credit they did give me was offset by huge monthly rental fees. I told them that wasn't fair and felt like they should give me a credit for that too as it wasn't my fault. Now I'm in a situation where I can't pay everything they are asking, and they still have my stuff. Its been over a year, and they sent me to collections. We are sleeping on mattresses on the floor that people in our neighborhood had discarded. This has been the worst nightmare ever. I just want my stuff back. My whole life and kids' lives are in those pods.

They don't even try. All I wanted was a pod delivered. Then dropped off after I fill it. My location is 45 miles from their yard. Easily doable. If it doesn't benefit them. They don't care

First delivery was twoHours late, waited all day. You have to call the call center in another country to find out what is going on with your POD. No local contact. An hour before it was to be delivered to my house on the second delivery, the driver called me and said I need a permit, so he took it to the warehouse. Ended up not being able to get a permit so I had to rent a U-haul and hire some movers to unload it and move to my house. They still charged me the full price which was double what I was quoted online. I would suggest staying far away from this company!!

Las Vegas local Staff, drivers and management are brilliant. After several hours over 2 days on the phone with Customer service, holding or being lied to, I drove to the local PODS depot where they arranged for my POD to be delivered immediately, only a day late.San Francisco Delivery and Collection services were timely and courteous.Central customer service however are an embarrassment to the good men and women PODS have working for them locally.

The pod is convenient but my god does their customer service and delivery consistency suck.Want all your stuff left on the street days after you move because they missed their pick up dates multiple days in a row? Not fun. We probably spent about 7 hours waiting on the phone with customer support.Thinking that must have been a fluke, 2 years later, we had our pod returned to us this past week. We had a scheduled pickup for Saturday, no show. Called each day, now hopefully it will be Tuesday between 4 and 6pm..Great idea, questionable execution is making me re-think what I'd do next time.

BE CAREFUL! They will provide you a quote over the phone and charge your credit card differently! I have gone round and round with them on the pricing I was given vs the pricing I am being charged. I, too, wish I had read their reviews prior to using PODS. Customer Service is a JOKE! Each time I called, the wait time was OVER one hour and then it is hard to understand the rep. I believe the phone calls are routed to another country. This is the most frustrating company ever that I have dealt with.The only thing this company is good at is apologizing. "We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience experienced while we reviewed your incident."p.s. I love the PODS response below, call and they will walk you through it. This is great if you don't mind being put on hold for over an hour and then have troubles trying to understand the customer service rep. AGAIN, this is the most frustrating company ever that I have dealt with. :(

I ordered online and it was super easy. Sidney Roberts-Martin is the driver that delivered the pod. He was very nice, helpful and professional.

Sidney was amazing. He called to let me know he was on his way, and put both of my PODS in my driveway. My daughter was especially impressed at how he navigated the "weird part" of the driveway. He made sure I could open the doors too. I will definitely use PODS again.

The only time it makes sense to use them is when your furniture is too big for Uhaul and Upack boxes. Any other time PODS is not economically advisable.Their prices are sometimes 2 to 3 times higher than other services. They do not believe in pro-rating charges based on duration of services used by the customers and hide behind arbitrarily defined guidelines.Do not provide any kind of flexibility in timing of pickup/delivery.A friend used Uhaul to store and move their context for 1/3rd the price. If possible, avoid them

Jot, the tech, picked up my POD without any problems and was very professional. Had the POD for way longer that I had thought but it wasn’t an issue.

The worst experience in my life! I rented a POD for local storage and was up to date on payments but they shipped my POD by mistake and lost it!

Our driver Jot did a great job picking up our Pods unit. We didn’t even know it was done until we went out to walk the dogs & the Pods unit was gone. We like this was a no contact pickup & didn’t even need to be here. Great job Pods & much appreciation to Jot!

Despite being told there are no storage charges (lower charge is $80 for unit rental) if I keep the pod at my location, this is the response I received from Ashley Zayas of PODS: “Booked initial order online on 09/08/2022 with 1mo of storage at the Local Storage Center. Booked the FPU online on 12/06/2022. Rescheduled the FPU on 02/13/2023. Once the container gets sent back to the Storage Center for storage (no matter the duration of storage) and the container is Redelivered to your location and is stored on your driveway, that Monthly Rental Rate will be set as if the Container was being stored at the Local Storage Center.” Anyone else had this experience?
