The Branch Manager Jacob Lal was so helpful and pleasant. He explained things plainly and walked me through step by step with the financial process I was going through. It wasn't a hassle it was smooth and stress-free. I'd recommend everyone to go to Provident Hayward Community Branch. They actually make you feel like family not just a customer.

Wow! The moment we walk inside and met Susie Coronel, we felt like we have been banking here for years. We help us open an account for my Daughter and also explain all the benefits and different accounts that they offer. We were treated with world class customer service. It felt like we were inside Tiffany Store. She also help us apply for Auto loan and it was simple and fast. I highly recommend Susie Coronel in all your Banking needs. She can help you consolidate all your personal loans, credit cards, and refi if you need it. Thank you so much for listening to our needs.

Went to get help refinancing our car and received the best service from Susie! She is amazing! She was very thorough in explaining all the paperwork, and she was able to answer every and any questions we had. Registered a complaint with the representative on the 800 number on January 12, 2024. Customer service needs serious improvement at the Hayward Foothill Boulevard location. First, please acknowledge customers as they walk-in the branch. Suggestion: Raise your head--and say at least "I'll be with you shortly--thank you for your patience." Be prepared for appointments that are made prior to coming in. No one seemed ready for a pre-arranged appointment. When we were finally seated in the office the Supervisor kept interrupting (opening the door to the office and speaking with the representative). Supervisor interrupted twice and NEVER apologized to us for the interruption. Lastly, two other customers were outwardly complaining of their accounts being hacked. Not good to hear when one is considering opening an account. Please improve customer service immediately.

Exceptional customer service, Cherrielyn took her time going over the details of securing my fathers account into his Living Trust addressing all his concerns. I want to thank Alondra for assisting me. She is always very kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. I have been dealing with several personal issues lately, and I've needed extra help and patience. I am so grateful I received it from Alondra. It makes all the difference in the world to someone who's feeling overwhelmed and fragile for the first time in their lives. The hours Provident CU has are the worst. I work 9:00-5:30. The CU opens at 9am, when I am already at work and closes at 5pm M-T. I could probably make it before they close on Friday, but Provident likes to have one branch per city. This is EXTREMELY inconvenient to most people who have day jobs. What I need to do must be done by a TELLER! The employees are amazing, it's the company that sucks. As much as I loath Chase bank, they have better hours and more locations. It's been a lame 17 years Provident. I'm out. ?
