I've come to this store multiple times in the past two weeks and every time 1) I'm greeted immediately and ask what help I need, 2) I have all my questions answered by very knowledgable and friendly employees, 3) I have an easy time finding items and colors, since the store is clean and very organized, and 4) I have had 4 color matches for paint that was fast, easy, and perfectly matched. This is why I go to this store instead of the other one closer to me.

As first time homeowners overwhelmed by all the ins and outs of remodeling, this Sherwin Williams store was a beacon of relief!! We’ve been to 3 other stores in the area with good experiences, but the Hayward store has especially exceptional staff. I was so grateful to have them guide us through the process and all the different tape options (who knew there were so many kinds of masking tape…) and every employee from the senior to junior staff showed pride in their store and job. One of the most positive interactions I’ve had with any organization this past year.

This is my local paint store. I like the quality of the paint and the color selection. The staff is friendly and helpful. I also appreciate that I can order what I want online and then drop by to pick up my order. There's a parking lot too. Lastly, through out the year, they have great sales (I recently got 40% off of interior semi-gloss). Note that this location has a full range of outdoor staining products unlike the other Hayward location.

I'm not an expert in paint. So what I look for when buying paint is custom service. Going to a big box store for paint is fine, especially if you know your a** from a hole in the wall when it comes to paint. I don't, so it's off to a place where the folks are willing to become part of your project. I did compare prices on spray paint and the ones they offered price wise was completely comparable. Quality seems really good. Where they could improve, is their inventory Control system. They should be able to tell you when a product that is out or on order, when that product will be back in stock. That's more of a home office issue and not a Store issue. If Amazon can tell you down to the day on when they will have a product back in stock no reason a company that only deals with paint and related paint products should be able to take their customer service to that level.

Usually very happy with this location. Today, 7/30, is crazy. I need a brush. Quick in and out. You would think... I come in and take my brush. The store is empty. I put my brush on the counter. Ten minutes pass, twenty minutes pass, other people come in and ask me for stuff. I don't work here, I wish, I would be done painting by now!

We bought a gallon of paint on Wednesday, Wednesday night heard an ad for 35% off all paint. Went back the next day and asked if we could get the discount, they said they couldn't do anything. We asked why he hadn't even mentioned the day we bought it that it was going on sale the next day, he said he didn't know. Really?Last time we will ever buy a Sherwin-Williams product ever again.
