This location for the last 2 years will close the lobby early, will ask people to leave while enjoying their beverage to close the lobby doors early, will mop the floors (not spot clean) during store hours, does not clean the tables regularly, mess up the orders often, baristas will become frustrated when they did the order wrong and you bring it to their attention, now they have decided to change their closing time to 6pm everyday which means be prepared to be asked to leave around 5:15pm-5:30pm. I don’t understand how management think any of this is okay.

The worse Starbucks in Hayward. So unprofessional and very slow. The manager needs to go. Windows real dirty in drive thru. Terrible experience.

Always reliable coffee on the go. The best thing I like about them is how fast they are. I can quickly grab a coffee on my way to work.

The WORST STARBUCKS LOCATION IN BAY AREA! The employees are even WORST ! They are rude I do not know how they running this place, they literally mess up on a simple order they never replace it for anything, the middle eastern employee they have has no respect and always messing orders up has no kind customer service she needs to fired and all the new employees they all gonna make this place shut down only one that actually get my order right there it’s the white manager, they need to pay attention when they get training because none of them are trained right

I asked for light ice on my iced VENTI matcha latte and I got 75% ice. This was through the drive thru, it makes me mad because this isn’t the first time this store does the same thing almost every time I go. I’ll attach a photo of the drink after I finished it and found it full of ice. I’m not paying $5 something for ICE, especially after I told them LIGHT ICE.Edit: the picture was taken a little bit after it sat on my counter, which is why it looks like 50% ice, u can tell at the bottom it’s melted down.

I placed order and I went to the store to get my drink. And I also purchased a cup in the store. I bought the cup to the register waiting to pay for it. I understood they were busy. I stood there for several minutes and no one talked to me. Later a girl said if you want to buy drink . place the order through the app. I told her I just pay for the cup. She said ok then she talked to another girl with low voice. I’m sure she must talk about me. She said scan it. I felt her attitude. I scan the cup by myself. She just leave me stand there and didn’t tell me what to do. I asked her what should I do next. She asked do you pay with card. I said yes. Finally she came to help me to pay for it. I asked her do you have a bag for the cup. She said maybe. Then she grabbed one and left the bag on another side not the register I stood. I didn’t take the bag. Her attitude makes me feel so bad. I went to take my drink. I asked twice for the straw. Another girl was there. She was impatient to me and said what do you need? I didn’t hear you. This is the worst service I got in Starbucks. I’ve been the customer for Starbucks several years already. Almost every Starbucks employee is kind and friendly. But those two ladies this afternoon I met gave me the worst service and experience. The staffs don’t respect the customer.

Worst Starbucks you can ever go to in they Hayward area. The person working the drive thru is absolutely terrible. Instead of reprimanding the car in front us for cutting the car line (which we waited 15 minutes in) they apologized to them after we honked at them for cutting the line. Then when it was finally our turn the drive thru person decided to lecture us a PAYING CUSTOMER for the honking while giving us terrible attitude as she was taking our order. I will never be coming back since they apparently are ok with people cutting the line. Absolutely worst experience I’ve ever had at Starbucks.

Trash Starbucks. They accept too many orders than they can handle. If you come here, expect to wait 30+ minutes whether you walk-in, online order, or drive thru. They should not accept online orders if they cannot handle the volume.

The customer service is dismal. My No-Water Chai was ALL water and literally tasted like chlorine or some.sort of cleaning disinfectant. I was already on the other side of Bridge and didn't feel like coming back for a replacement but I wish I had! More than half the time there is a cone in the drive thru and they are seemingly short staffed. Do better Starbux.

Buckle up, I'm venting :) Useful info at end!!!! Filthy dirty location and very poor service today, 11/1/23 at 1:30pm!!! Came in with my son and we both noticed the floor was so sticky, and caked in grime. Labels and wrappers scattered about, rags on the floor. The prep counters were covered in matcha powder, bits of food, coffee grounds everywhere and general filth. Everything was gross: the display case, the tables and chairs, and especially the floors. Dirty whipped cream nozzles piled up right next to the food counter and where customers and staff congregate (see my attached pics, they aren't great, I tried to take them discretely and not include employee faces).Worse yet: the service. Jazz (I'm assuming the green haired gal referenced in other negative reviews) was curt and unfriendly when I ordered 3 sandwiches, 2 drinks, and 2 cake pops. The employees are extremely unprofessional, cursing at each while joking around and talking about their Halloween night, (and this is wild) loudly barking at each other like dogs. -_- They said they are a pack and screaming at each, guffawing, and barking. And it's not like I was eavesdropping, they were super loud!! And for some of this standing like 3 feet away from where we were sitting.Honestly, it was wild. I don't often eat in, and I truly regret doing so today. I dared to ask for the free refill Starbucks Rewards Members are encouraged to take advantage of. To clarify, you do not get a refill of the $5 or $6 beverage you ordered, it has to be (the much less expensive) option of iced or hot coffee or tea. The policy is very clear, and for some reason many Starbucks employees are not familiar with it. For all who need clarification this is from the Starbucks website: you can use your registered Starbucks Card or Starbucks® app to purchase a beverage and then present that same Starbucks Card or Starbucks account in the app to get free refills of brewed coffee (hot, Iced Coffee or Cold Brew), and tea (hot or iced, not including lemonade) during the same store visit regardless of the original beverage.When the employees are (sadly often) confused, they usually defer to a lead, the policy is explained to them (which is crazy, they should be trained to know that) and they give you the free refill. However, this request sent Jazz, Jorge (not sure if he is the manager, they said he was, but he said he wasn't), and a woman who refused to give her name into an absolute fit today. Here is what happened: I purchased a shaken iced espresso, then ate my sandwich and finished my drink. Getting ready to leave, I showed my empty cup and requested an iced coffee as the refill. Jazz said I can't get a refill since I didn't get an iced coffee. I let her know that the policy is actually any beverage that is finished in store is allowed to count towards a free refill of a hot or iced coffee or tea. She said no. I said please ask the manager, she huffed off. Jazz and Jorge conferred for a while, then Jazz started demanding I show her the policy that allows me to get a free coffee. She then started calling over to a woman who I think wasn't on shift yet, who flashed a phone at me like "see it's right here". I was taken so aback by their behavior. Eventually Jazz started saying "I have to charge you for the all the add ins". I said "What add in I just want iced coffee with some half and half that should be free". She said no its 50 cents, and I said okay, I can pay 50 cents, and she said "that's the policy contact customer service to get your 50 cents back" in a very snotty tone. I said it's not about the 50 cents, she kept insisting I show her the policy, and I said I shouldn't have to pull up anything, as an employee you should know this, and my I was so nervous I didn't want to start googling a Starbucks policy! It was so ugly over a stupid coffee, I wish I never went.Anyway, don't worry Jazz, I did call customer service and started a case. They gave me a big courtesy gift card right
