There's a lot of reviews regarding poor customer service but the incentive of affordability. As a general rule, most of these Chinese stores only really offer good consistent customer service to other Chinese, coming from a Chinese person. That's generally why Chinese owned businesses do not succeed in reviews. Culturally we don't really hold customer service as an ideal so just keep in mind that coming here means you might find some issues regarding customer service, quality, strange markup(like their return policy, which is actually quite common and in some cases some stores equate this to a NO return policy). The important thing is to really stand your ground and just don't let them step on you, be aware of quality and don't get hustled. I'd also recommend KZ as an alternative, best of luck

If your gli g to replace your counters or redo your kitchen or bath this place has the best selection of granite, marble, quartz, cabinets, showers, faucets, man everything. Plus there are contractors in the parking lot and store that van assist you with installation.

I went there last August 29. Lots of cops barricading the gate. They are from Customs and Border Protection. A cop told me that it will be closed for a while. I don't know if they're open now.

Great collection with very poor customer service. We are in the middle of a project and the store is closed most of the times. No calls are answered. Moreover, we just got to know that they are under investigation.

Went out last Saturday and it was closed. It was labor day weekend. But nothing mentioned on the website about them not being open. I hear they have a great show room, and would like to check it out. But I don't want to drive out again to find them closed. I can't reach anyone by phone at any of their 3 locations. There is no way to contact them on their website. I just want to confirm that they are open before I drive a half hour to an hour.

Please do not shop this store they are not honest. They do anything to sale but after that no help to correct mistake.be aware and read sales contract signing with them. They are charging 25/ fee even on returns material which you pay but did not pick up that. There price to compare with quality is very high spicily cabinet.High price for insulation for low quality material.If after few months you get damage to Cabint door you want to change most likely they do not have it or you need to replace the hole cabinet.

We are in the beginning phase of our kitchen remodel and wanted to shop around for cabinets, stone countertops, and backsplash. Uni-Tile was the 4th place we visited last Saturday (7/29) and we saw that they have a sale going for cabinets so we decided to get a quote. Winnie was the person to help us and she was a bit rude during our consultation. Every time we tried to tell her what we wanted, she would tell us she didn't like it or didn't think it looks good. My husband was getting frustrated but we figured for the price, it may be worth it. After almost 2 hours, we agreed on the design and received our quote. We told her we will return the following week with our contractor to place the order because we wanted to confirm the dimensions and design with him before placing the order. I called Winnie early Thursday (8/3) afternoon to let her know we would be coming around 5pm because that is the earliest our contractor can meet us there. She said they close at 5:30pm and if we can come a bit earlier. I told her my husband and I will try to come a little earlier and just wait for our contractor. She said ok. We arrived around 4:40pm only to see her desk was empty. We asked one of the other sales rep if Winnie was in. He said she had already left for the day. We asked if he can help us and he said no, that Winnie would have to complete the order. I thought fine. We will try to come back again. I called Winnie the next morning (Friday, 8/4), and asked if she was working Saturday morning and she said yes. I told her ok, we will come Saturday morning with our contractor to complete the order. I also told her that we came to see her yesterday but she had already left for the day. She didn't apologize or acknowledge she had left early even though she asked us to come earlier. I reiterated to her again on the phone that we will see her Saturday morning with our contractor and she said ok. Saturday (8/5) morning, we arrived around 11am with our contractor and see her desk empty again. We again asked another sales rep if Winnie was in that day. Imagine my shock and frustration when he told me that she was OFF that day. My contractor could not believe it either. We asked the guy if he can help us since she had flaked on us twice now and we just wanted to order our cabinets. We provided him the quote she gave us and imagine our surprise when he told us one of the items she provided on the quote was on backorder for a couple of months. At this point, I'm pissed off. I'm sure the sales rep could tell we were extremely unhappy and tried to offer another brand to substitute for the backordered item as a solution but it would not match with the rest of the style cabinets we were originally quoted for. I told my husband that was unacceptable and I was irritated Winnie did not inform us at the time of our initial consultation that one of the items was on backorder even though we told her we were starting the demo and installation process in a couple of weeks. The whole experience left me frustrated and pissed off so I told my husband we'll look elsewhere. This place has lots of options but customer service is absolutely horrible. If we were having all these issues trying to place the order, I couldn't imagine how much worse it would be if we ran into any issues after receiving the cabinets. Plus they charge a 25% restocking fee for any reason. I do not recommend them at all. We ended up placing our order with KZ Kitchen Cabinet & Stone and even though we ended up paying a bit more. Their customer service was 1000000% times better than what we received at Uni-Tile & Marble.

We have used Uni tile for our kitchen remodel now twice. Collection is good and you find a lot of options under one roof. I especially appreciate the patience of the front end staff (Winnie Wu) for being so kind and patiently sharing details and options for us. She has good knowledge and is helpful. I particularly had bad experience with lady at the door named May. She was rude and screamed at me and my 8 year old daughter. Her behavior was unprofessional and does not consider how she treats customers. People leave their work and important things to spend hours at the store.I keep going back cause of Winnie. She is very best. We had to change our slabs a few times and she was even patient with all this.

My wife and I was looking for a kitchen cabinets we walking to Uni tile we we met a beautiful person and her name is Winnie Wu. She design our kitchen, layout. She has the best customer service because she take her time to explain you each detail and this is very important. I really recommend her for you guys out there who is looking for kitchen cabinets.

I have had nothing but trouble at this location. Specifically, May Sun has terrible communication skills. She is openly rude, loud and just bad for business. The attitude and atmosphere makes me wary to ever need to make a return. I will never go here again. Don't shop here.

I am a contractor. A few days ago, one of my workers accompanied a client of mine to the "Hayward Uni-tile" where my client purchased some cabinets and stones.After making the purchases, they went to the pickup area where a worker named "May Sun" was supposed to help them finish.For whatever reason, May Sun clearly disliked my client. She was extremely rude and unprofessional. She screamed at my client, insulted them and was overall very disrespectful and showed terrible work ethic.May Sun shouted so loudly at my client that neither they or my worker could understand exactly what was going on.She refused to give the paid for materials to my client and instead continued to insult them.When I spoke to another worker who has been to the Hayward Uni-Tile several times, they described other interactions with May Sun as being consistently terrible and often abusive.This is not someone who should be in a line of work with customer interaction. She makes an otherwise great company a place that is hostile and beyond unprofessional and unwelcoming.If I were the owner of Hayward Uni-Tile, I would definitely want to know if an employee of mine was behaving in this manner and driving customers away.Sun May is bad for business.From now on I will go to KZ Kitchen Cabinets and suggest to all of my clients that they do the same.
