Non good english speaking attendants with zero interest in helping the public. Slow service with the drop box. Takes over two days for any update with tracking if dropping off in drop box.

Lost or stolen 2 package already on this facility. Scan 2 packages on kiosk and drop it off on the drop box. And it never moves on the tracking number. Bad employees.

Don’t ever put your mail on vacation hold at this post office you might not ever see it again. Long story short they never loaded the mail on the delivery truck for the carrier to deliver when the hold ended. Two days later and still no mail. Our mail carrier was VERY helpful she called the PO found our mail and actually went back to the PO to get it for us. No more mail hold this PO cannot be trusted with the mail we will find another way.

This USPS is absolute garbage. Every time I have come here - it has been an issue - right from mailing packages to picking it up to getting anything. Completely disorganized and lack of enough personal that the at a point atleast 10 folks are waiting in line. Folks here are nice but they really have to do a better job at helping customers.

I would like to say Thank you so much MARIA for helping me. 10 star for you. Maria was so accommodating, nice, kind, and she has a long patience. I have a big box to send overseas and she approached me and help me without any hesitation.
Honestly, there's a few staffs that should help me but they went all at the back of their office so Maria can take my big box which was not fair to MARIA. By the way God bless you Maria and to other staff who doesn't want to help me cause they don't want to carry the big box well then shame on you Guys.
To clarify, this is April 12 2025 transaction only so who ever work on that day then shame on them except MARIA who helped me to carry my big box.
I also want to thank you the other Lady she's quite Old Asian who borrowed me a trolley cause I can't lift heavy stuff. If you read this Thank you so much.

I came on a Thursday around 1 pm to pick up my mail that wasn't delivered to my community mailbox. It wasn't super busy, but because this was late February, a few people were mailing off their taxes and holding up the line.
They have a self-service machine that can help with printing postage for those with enveoples and packages to go.
If you are only there to pick up mail, they do have a dedicated pick-up window for mail pick up with a bell on the left side.
Overall what I expected from a USPS. I've had better and worse experiences at a USPS office.

Understaffed and disorganized. You wait your turn, then they tell you you needed to be in a different line. Saw patrons having a verbal argument over it. And they've failed to deliver several letters and a package to me. If this is your local post office, good luck!

i been in hayward over 45 years. never used to have any issues here ever.
i called up 800 usps number had issues with some forms. and some other things. was told over the phone to go down here. talk to postmaster or supervisor.
staff was nice very helpful. some have broken english. one person was hard to understand. mostly chinesse.
ask for postmaster they didnt know who i was talking about.
ask for supervisor to help me with some questions. some forms. and different things. not around.
usually packed this time of year. wasnt that many people.
only real time i had issues here. i been in hayward over 40 years.
never really had a problem here.
staff is awesome. they were nice and professional. but just couldnt find anyone to help me with any questions or forms
