“Stonebrae was the most amazing venue for my wedding this past September! The venue is both indoor and outdoor atop the Hayward Hills, with amazing views of the Bay. Here are some details:

Our party was 150 people and that was the perfect amount to have an intimate outdoor ceremony and indoor reception with a perfect sized dance floor that fit both live entertainment and a DJ booth. We bought out the attached Dormy house restaurant for the night that served as the food, dessert, beverage section and included a full bar setup, so it's a decent sized space. I definitely recommend doing this because it allowed the reception area to comfortably be for just seating and dancing. Stonebrae is great because it's open to outside catering and dessert vendors, and they provided a staging area that accommodated the caterers and they had plenty of lighting and outlets outside for our dessert cart. They had the nicest hardworking staff setting up/breaking down the ceremony and bussing the tables, and the provided bartenders were excellent and super friendly. The only downside to keep in mind is the venue does not have Bride/Groom suites, but since we were members of the club we had access to the locker rooms which were not private. Pricing I believe is slightly lower than surrounding venues and members get huge savings/benefits, and they have multiple plans to choose from.

The best part of the experience was working with Emma Donovan who was our event planner. I know she had a lot on her plate as the sole event planner during the busy wedding season, but she always took my calls, responded to my emails, stepped away to meet me in person during walk throughs. She even allowed me to store things in her office before and after the party. Emma made me feel like she was fully in my corner planning this wedding with me like family, which I feel is uncommon in the wedding business. She vibed well with all my vendors and helped with the floor plan to optimize the space in the reception hall and food section. She also graciously allowed me to use Stonebrae's closet of decorations which saved me time and money. I don't know how else to describe this without sounding sappy, but the whole experience felt like everyone was looking out for me like I was family- it never felt businesslike where they were just doing the minimum and churning out the next party. Emma and every member of her amazing team at Stonebrae made this crazy stressful process so much better and heartwarming and peaceful, and that's priceless! I've tried to include photos that show the outdoor ceremony setup, dance floor, Dormy house food section, and of course the beautiful Bay views that's the backdrop for your party.”
