I would give a negative star if I could. Pharmacy staff is incompetent and lazy. Didn't know how to process insurance and the technician didn't try more than twice to get a paid claim. Moved my business to CVS and will never use this Walgreens again. This Walgreen location closes at 6pm, but when CVS tried calling for the transfer, the phone system said pharmacy was closed and it was only 5:30pm.

Do not have Walgreens on Jackson as your pharmacy.... They don't answer the phone you're on hold for so long and then it hangs up on you.. you go through the drive-through and you have to wait so long.. you go inside you have to wait so long.. it's terrible terrible.. I've never had so many issues with my prescriptions.I made the mistake by transferring to this Walgreens

If only I can give a negative star! Walgreens seems to be ALWAYS understaff or hire under qualified staff especially pharmacists! Do these pharmacists know what they are doing? Had an appointment for Covid booster and flu. Went in 20 mins early, but didn't get my shot until 1.5 hours after!!

A family member and I both had appointments for our COVID booster shots scheduled for this evening, which we scheduled nearly 2 weeks in advance. We arrived about 25 minutes prior to our scheduled appointments. Unfortunately, we were told that this Walgreens had stopped giving vaccines an hour and a half prior to our arrival (nearly 2 hours prior to our scheduled appointments). It's quite unfortunate that in the middle of a global pandemic, such a large company is this unreliable with its procedures around something as sacred as healthcare.

Made an appointed for a booster and flu. Damn pharmacy was closed for lunch. There was no sign. Then after 30 min, they showed up. After that, I Waited for over an hour to get checked in and then another 30 to get the vaccines. Will not be returning to get anything

The pharmacy staff are so slow! Whether you're in line inside or at the drive-thru, you'll be waiting for at least 25 minutes until you get called up. The Indian guy working at the window is unprofessional, loud, and rude for no apparent reason. He can't even pronounce names of prescriptions and has the audacity to be rude to me for being quiet every time I go to the drive-thru. He even commented on how I pronounced my street name in a "funny way." I hope the store fires him because he's so immature and rude, especially for an older guy. I would think that the other staff members, who are also older, would find it weird that he acts that way but they are all the same. Just because I'm young doesn't mean you can get away with being rude to me. Respect everyone! And please fire him!

The service is poor. No acknowledgement of people in line. If you're in line, you're there to wait and that's how it is. Customer service is dead. You see 4-5 people inside yet only one is hustling to serve window and in store

I had an appointment for my flu shot, arrived ahead of time per their request to fill out any paperwork necessary, only to be told that I would have to wait 30 minutes because they were under staffed. I explained that I couldn't wait an additional 30 mins because i had another appt and that is why I scheduled this appointment. They were not helpful at all, so I had to leave. I will schedule another appt at a more reputable Walgreens store, perhaps in a more affluent city. Don't go to this Walgreens, they are terrible.

Walgreens on Jackson is failing at the main reason for its being: selling drugs. I spent an hour yesterday trying to get them on the phone. I finally gave up. Earlier, I'd driven there to pick up my prescription, which the Walgreen's website informed me was ready. It wasn't. It required approval of my doctor, and the website had failed to detect this. So when I got there, it wasn't ready and there was no record of my web transaction. This is the second time this has happened. Today I called again and spent 20 minutes connecting with a human. Calling the pharmacy direct only caused more listening to music, ringing, then back to music, and then being dropped. A store that can't utilize their web portal, cannot even answer its phone, and wastes customer time on at least 25% of my visits is failing at its own mission. I'm changing to another drug store, even though in the past I got excellent service from this store. There must have been a management change or the corporation simply doesn't care anymore. How insane that I have to go there in person to resolve this, when I have web access and their app on my iPhone.

The medicines and variety of products are good. However, they have Very ignorant and rude staff at the pharmacy. I am planning to change mine for the same reason

Got there to the the drive thru and already safety hazard on the entranceway. Where it clearly shows it's an exit to the leave the parking lot. I had to get out of my car to alert that there is already a line building up where the drive Thur arrows are marked to follow. They need to have big sign and input do not enter for it's an exit only. I waited for almost an hour and a half. What should have happen in my opinion that that the drive thru be treated as a separate queue. The tech/pharmacist was going back and forth with the front register. And insisted there was one customer ahead. But I could see through the window he is assisting more than one customer. It's not an efficient multitask way to do things. There needs to be an additional sign that waiting periods are a lot longer. I should get that in the email or a big sign be posted near the waiting section of the parking lot. I tried to call earlier today. And the receiver of my phone call had already placed me on hold twice after it is answered by the machine, and then doesn't even give a second thought to tell me politely the system is down and abruptly hangs up before I can even ask a follow up question. It's unfortunate I have to come here, because my insurance is covered there. If I had a choice, I would have gone to CVS for my covid testing. But this was my option due to the availability of testing with CVS.

Rude staff in the pharmacy. The Mexican girl with the short black hair always has attitude for no reason. I went to get my covid shot and she didn't double check for insurance or anything and told me to "wait" in a tone. I was waiting right at the area I was at since I don't know wtf she means by "wait" like a 5 year old. So then she comes up to me and says "wait by aisle 11" and so I did. Also no one assisted me because I was "the only person" in line until other people showed up. Relax, there's no need to be that cocky. It's literally not that difficult to become a pharmacy technician. Thanks.

I want to give recognition to Chevez, the manager of this store for having a well maintained store. It's good to know there are people in the community who are truly kind and try to make a difference.
