My mother came home with a flat of peaches today. She didn't look to see what they looked like until she got home. They were all on the small side, almost every peach had a rot spot on it half of them were flavorless. I definitely feel like my mother got the short end of the stick. $50 bucks ….. Check your peaches before you go home folks.

I didn't know Dry Creek peaches were a thing until yesterday. I bought one of each variety of peach and plum that was available. My favorite was the orangish plum that looks like a nectarine (pictured). All I can say is WOW!

I am a recently retired organic farmer, so my assessment is coming from that perspective. I visited here for the first time to get some quality local peaches. Although the price, at 6 dollars per pound, was a little bit steep, I understand that labor and land costs in Sonoma County are high so I can accept that for a quality local peach. And I understand why they don't want us to " touch the peaches" as they may bruise, so they just pick them for you. But choosing from a field run, with no sorting for culls and seconds, at that price? I ended up with fruit I would have sold as seconds, and that made it hard for me to swallow that price. I needed to slice some to remove bad spots. The fruit, however, was delicious so they get points for that, but they really need to do a better job of sorting the fruit for blemishes.

Small but cute peach stand, VERY good peaches. Open very limited days and hours, best thing to do is follow them on Instagram for when they are open.

I have to say it is a highlight of the fruit season when they start selling their peaches, if you have not had the opportunity to have their yellow peaches then you have missed something big time. The flavor is unparalleled and what is very cool is they care a lot about the peaches they pick and when they release them. Now their white peaches are fantastic as well, but the yellow ones - oh my gosh. Find them at local farmers markets or visit the farm if you can.

What a popular place. Long line for a mid-week day. I believe they are only open on Wednesays and sometimes on the weekend. Had seen their Facebook post that their first of the season white and yellow peaches were in - looks like lots of other people saw that information too. Family owned for about 20 years. We just had to make the drive to get some - I guess I have some baking to do the next several days. check them out!

A super cute, well run organic farm growing some of the best peaches I've ever had. My car smelled like candy driving back to Napa after picking up 7 flats of these amazing peaches.

Dry Creek Peaches is one of my FAVORITE things about summer! ?Their hand picked, organic peaches are the best around. It's TRUE, they're a bit expensive....but worth it. Every peach is perfect. You can get them cheaper at the grocery store, but you dont know what you will get and I promise they wont be as good as Dry Creek's!!
