From Humane Society of Sonoma County - Healdsburg

Established in 1931, the Humane Society of Sonoma County is a no-kill shelter located at 5345 Highway 12 West in Santa Rosa, near Sebastopol. In 2016, we opened our Healdsburg Shelter at 555 Westside Road. Our mission is to ensure that every animal receives protection, compassion, love and care. Each year we rescue, rehabilitate and find loving homes for thousands of animals. We are dedicated to bringing pets and people together for a lifetime of love. As a resource to our community we provide animal adoptions, dog training classes, humane education programs, affordable spay/neuter clinics, and other supportive services including our Community Veterinary Clinic which serves qualifying low-income pet owners on a sliding scale.
