I believe it’s the short haired woman. Rude and she definitely knows what she’s doing as other people walk in she’s happy gee golly with some and others she gives a face of disgust.

I just recently shopped at Mr. Moon's and I felt compelled to write this review as this has happened to me on a few occasions at the store, so it is not something that just happens when someone is having a bad day. I normally never write reviews and I'm not on any social media. I took the time out to write this hoping the owner of the store will read this . One of the employees that works at this store is extremely rude. She gives you the attitude that she does not want to be there, in her tone of voice, the way she looks at you when you ask her a question, and there's two employees in the store at the time so the other employee who seems to be nice must notice this woman's attitude. This employee will sometimes repeat your question back to you and look at you as if you asked her something that's really bothering her. I don't know if this woman is the store owner but I have shopped in there with one of my children and I received the same disdainful look from this employee like she did not want to be bothered and she just wants to ring up your purchase and get rid of you. She knows what she's doing because she never actually says too much of anything but it's all with her mannerisms and her attitude when you ask her a question and how she repeats the question that you ask and looks at you. I just shopped in there again and made another purchase and it was the same woman and she treated me the same disdainful way as the last time I was in there. When I asked to look at some jewelry she took it out of the case for me and showed me but she gives off the feeling that she's really bothered to be helping you. This was my favorite store to go to for 25 years and I went there with my kids as they were growing up. I live locally in Healdsburg and it's still is one of my favorite stores for the merchandise that they sell there. I am a frequent customer there and have been purchasing there for many, many years. After reading the reviews on the store I noticed a couple of other people have experiences with the same employee .I hope the owner reads this unless this woman is actually the owner. If I owned the store I would want to be made aware of this.

I rarely leave reviews but after going to Mr. Moon's for the first time a few months ago to check it out because I had heard excellent things, I was very disappointed. I walked in and the woman working was speaking to another lady and complaining about teachers and how little they do and how awful they are - as a teacher myself, I was hardhearted to hear this. Here I am planning to spend money in this local shop to then overhear horrible things being said about my profession. I left right away - The women working also never stopped her rant to acknowledge me being in there. Fast forward to this weekend, I decided enough time had passed and I'd like to give it a second chance. I love shopping locally and was in the market for candles, cards, and small gifts. Well I walk in, again no one greets me, and I hear the women working complaining to a person who I presume is her friend. The woman had a large dog and they were complaining / arguing and it was very uncomfortable. The atmosphere was negative and uninviting. I would maybe go a third time but only if the employees get a lesson on customer service because complaining in such a small space is really unwelcoming. I get times are tough and stressful, but work, in front of customers, is not the place to air your negativity.

I have never been to a store where an employee or owner has been so disrespectful. Whoever this woman is needs to be let go or just let go of any baggage she carried with her to work that day. 1/5 stars just because of her tragic display of communication.

Mr. Moon's is always a great place for gifts. Being local, I shop there often. Today I bought a birthday gift for my wife. Jane was incredibly helpful and kind. She was a pleasure to talk with. I'll continue frequenting Mr. Moon' s and recommend you stop in for unique & beautiful gifts!

Great gift shop on the Healdsburg Plaza. A good eclectic collection of gifts that the whole family would enjoy.

Such a great novelty gift store situated perfectly on the Square. Highlights are certainly there greeting card selection, it's massive and unique. Lots of great children's items from clothing, like the tot size Healdsburg baseball caps to toys like the plush line Jellycat. Great place to find holiday gifts and stocking stuffers!

I've lived in Healdsburg full time for 10 years. Mr Moon's is my go to store for cards, baby gifts, wrapping paper etc. I've always been welcomed warmly, with a smile, and when I need advice or info about an item, they are always readily available, knowledgeable, and helpful. Mr Moon's is worth a visit. You won't be disappointed.

The ABSOLUTE worst customer service. As a local I would tell you to avoid at all costs!

What a gem of a store! Cards, earrings, hysterical mugs and a much-needed hat on a hot day. Very helpful staff with no pressure. Will be a regular stop on the north east corner of the Healdsburg Square.

So let me get this straight...they get knocked because they don't want people stealing? I mean, this isn't a Jane's Addiction song; c'mon, folks. ;-) There are a handful of places in Healdsburg I would frequent (I visit SoCo often enough but not that far north), and this is one of them. The guy who called it irreverent is pretty close, they have some pretty funny stuff. But there is more traditional "gift shop stuff" too. So if you want to go with the flow or be a stuffy oenophile, you'll probably find something you like. Personally, I'm gonna avoid the Healdsburg gear. Scottsdale is its own tourist town, and reppin' another is against city ordinance. (no, not really) Just put your tongue in your cheek, relax and buy something. Buy...not steal.
