I enjoyed Mike Berg's metal work which is both bold and incredibly detailed. Michael Cooper's work is creative, playful and challenges the idea of "form follows function." There is also an artist whom plays with the psychological aspects of living...it made me laugh and think/wonder. Whenever I step into Paul Mahder's 222 art gallery...it transports me to a world outside of Sonoma County and expands my vision of the world. If you have a chance, stop in to appreciate art and what it offers.

I read the reviews before coming in and they were generally good. I was wrong. I brought the piece in for a re-frame the week before Christmas, 2020. I finally picked it up today, March 3, 2021. It was still not ready. I had to wait for 30 minutes for the backing to be put on. They kept giving me excuses when I called from the beginning of February (when they said it was being done "this week") and again at the end of February (when they said they forgot to bring it from their workshop). You can see in the photos that there is not only a gap in the top of the frame, but also a HAIR inside the frame. What's more, I had to trim the backing that was hastily put on and had creases in the backing. It was completely put on crooked. I wasn't going to write this because I know the economy is not great right now. But even with some discount they gave me, the work was still over $500. I'm so upset. It's such a beautiful piece of art, and it looks like someone at Target framed it. I have to have it redone - and spend other hundreds of dollars to do it.

This gallery is an extraordinary and large collection of modern abstract photography charcoal pencil acrylic beautiful wooden furniture sculptures the largest living moss wall in the US. It is quite an experience and I think they actually should charge a entrance fee at the door. In fact I have been there so many times, I gave them a $100 for the pleasure they gave me. I think by far the best gallery in Healdsburg.

Talk about unexpected.
To be honest, I was expecting a small gallery that would engage me for a few moments and that would be that. I would move on with my day and forget about it...
It was not that at all. It was almost like going down the rabbit hole. I was so immersed and captivated.
There was a enormous Nikolai Atanassov painting in the main wing that when I turned around and saw it - it took my breath away.
Each piece in this gallery is so thoughtfully chosen. All of the artists pour their heart and soul into each work and it shows.
The layout beckons you to continue further down the rabbit hole, and it is not a disappointment at all.

Two Lions loves this spot. One of the best galleries in Healdsburg, hands down. Visiting this gallery is an amazing experience. Museum quality art and placement with a genuine open air feel. Make sure to stop here on your way through town.

Beautiful space with an amazing selection of artists' works from all over the world.
The recent addition of a sitting space in the back is particularly impressive with its moss wall soothing vibe.
