Raven Performing Arts Theater

Raven Performing Arts Theater is a great space to see a show, with great acoustics and a lovely staff. The theater has a long history that gives it an amazing charm, feeling both familiar and important. It is the opposite of big corporate theaters. The variety of events, films, and plays is a highlight, including the Healdsburg International Short Film Festival, where filmmakers from all over the world show their cinematic creations. The staff is welcoming and helpful. A local theater group offers a range of plays and musicals, with admirable dedication and great fun humor. An impressive production of the Wizard of Oz was recently staged. The small town theater showcases local talent, and while performances are not always perfect, the young talent puts it all out on the line, which comes across. It is the home of the incredible Healdsburg International Short Film Festival each Fall. More than 130 productions happen each year, featuring nationally and internationally known performers, community theater, school and non-profit productions, and civic events.
