Sutro Wine Co. is an independent, women-owned and operated winery located along Healdsburg’s Chalk Hill Road. It is a certified sustainable ranch with a stunning property, offering breathtaking views. Visitors can enjoy a hike that provides nice elevation gain but is not strenuous, alongside a tasting tour. The experience is highly recommended, with knowledgeable guides pointing out interesting geologic, viniculture, and family history. The staff is accommodating and flexible, making it a family and kid-friendly outing. The wines themselves are exceptional, spectacular, beautifully constructed, and delectable, with particular praise for the Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Many guests are blown away by the tasting and end up joining the wine club. The overall experience is so enjoyable that visitors would return in a heartbeat and cannot wait to come back.

We had breathtaking views before our wonderful tasting! The hike was not strenuous but you do get some nice elevation gain! The wines are exceptional and Alice has a great story! I ended up joining the wine club and I'm excited for my first shipment! I would go back in a heartbeat!
