The owner who I told I was looking to spend 50 bucks or so on a bottle of tequila actually showed me a really good bottle that was only 30. Lowering his cell and saving me 20 bucks but that's the kind of service that is rare nowadays.”

On 07-04-24, I was assisted by the Meat Dept. supervisor, Andrew M. He took the time to explain meat cuts, meat specials, and what to look for in meat selection. He also informed of the no-cost services they provide, such as meat grinding (for making ground beef), adding seasoning to any meats, special cuts of meats, meat trimming, etc.
Also, the store manager, Matt S., went to back to bring out a particular beverage that was empty from shelf. He did this twice to ensure I received what I was looking for.
This Stater Bros offers a great selection of everyday staple items, an excellent bakery, a fantastic meat dept., and excellent customer service!

“Interesting location . Been goin there since I moved here 5 years ago . Ive had good and less favorable experiences with customers . Overall staff always treated me with respect and work very hard everytime I seen them on shift . The owner reminds me of a mob boss that never raises his voice passed a 5. His wife don't play no games she means business. Alex is a work machine that never slacks and calls me and my girlfriend Bonnie and clide. The young lady on night shift is really courteous with a lot of positive energy. She also knows good incense. The only issue I ever had was last year during Christmas when the cranberry sprite wasn't in stock?”

“Small liquor store and they have the prepackaged drinks that is seen on TikTok. If you don't like the prepackaged drinks, they have a bunch of small liquor bottles to make your own.”
“Always come here. But today one of the cashier's was rude as hell. We were paying for our food and dish soap. Half food stamps and half on our debit card we were waiting for her to scan in our items and she was there talking to another coworker. No hello or anything we scanned our EBT card for our food items and she took long to do her part after we entered our pin. Then for our soap and sponges and we said we're paying debit it wasn't registering because she did not set it up we told her twice and she was ignoring us. Everyone else in the store sees us daily but this middle age woman is rude and unprofessional...”

“The reviews, which have nothing to do with the store itself, complaining about the homeless and tweakers must not live in Hemet or understand that these folks are not just in the store lot... they're EVERYWHERE in this town. Especially if you're out late at night. Unless you were accosted or attacked trying to enter the store....I'm betting you weren't bothered - it just BOTHERS YOU to see them out. In the city you chose to live in. This store, regardless of the type of people who roam around, has THE BEST employees who are friendly and kind. The cigs are cheaper here than anywhere else and they get you rung up quickly making sure you're not waiting too long in line. I'm not there for aesthetics...it's convenient when everything else is closed and I just need an item or two really quick. So I'm not disappointed or deterred from going again. “The new owners are amazing they have become like family to me and that means so much. I live a short walk away so I'm there very frequently and they knew my mom who just passed away yesterday and they were so kind with condolences and I felt the family heart more than ever. They are good people and always take good care of me they even started stocking my hard to find cigarette brand upon my request and now instead of driving across town and paying more I can walk to the corner and pay less with much kinder service. I got Lebanese in me from my mom's side and we feel that family vibe which is so important to me especially these days Support Kirby Liquor a great little corner market!!”
