Stater Bros. Markets, a Southern California grocery chain, has been in operation since 1936, starting from a single store in Yucaipa. The company now boasts 172 locations across the region, offering a wide selection of fresh produce, meats, seafood, wine, and a variety of groceries. Customers generally have a positive experience at Stater Bros. Markets, praising the store's spacious and clean layout, with a sushi bar, bakery, and dedicated wine and liquor section. The stores are well-stocked, with a good variety of baked goods, drinks, and other grocery items. The butchery department is a highlight, with attentive staff. However, some customers have noted that the meat and seafood can sometimes be close to the expiration date and expensive. The staff is generally described as friendly, though a few customers have found them to be a bit snooty. The stores are often busy, with long lines, but the flow is generally good. Some customers have expressed a desire for self-checkout options. Overall, Stater Bros. Markets is a popular grocery destination in Southern California, offering a wide range of products and a generally positive shopping experience.
In my new neighborhood. Amazingly low prices for todays situation and lots of pre-made meal offerings! From fried chicken to authentic tamales. And current favorites like a 12 pack of zero soda for $4.99! It's like living in the 90's.
