Worst Pharmacy I have ever been to. I have been here six times for an elderly friend. They have never had the medication ready in spite of saying it was ready. I have been waiting for 90 minutes this time and still counting!!!. There are two pharmacist, but they both go to lunch at the same time leaving no coverage. I have never had a smooth prescription pick up here yet. And they don't seem to care. Very poor attitude. Very bad service.

Terrible! I was browsing the hair products and makeup, next thing you know I am being questioned by the police for shoplifting? What? I’ve never shoplifted. Is it because they didn’t recognize me, is it because I was browsing? Then the officers that came and humiliated me were not only rude but accusatory as well. Maybe the approach is why there is so much conflict between civilians and the police?

Great local store! Employees know customers by name and are friendly and helpful. Hours are convenient and open daily, including the pharmacy. With costs rising for everything, the cones are no exception but the occasional ice cream is still a treat!

Awful ?..doctor called prescription in. Went in 3 hours later and they claimed not to have received it. A week later they called and said it was ready. It was an antibiotic and they call me a week later?? C'mon PEOPLE!!! Before leaving rite aid I had my doctor call CVS canyon rd pinole. It was ready within 20ins of leaving rite aid.

I agree with recent reviews that employees are rude including older lady at front check out. Google should have zero stars option.I got yelled at for requesting help. I had to raise my voice to stop the lady from yelling. I told my wife and she said she has never seen me raise my voice in public places.1 star to the one good employee who cared to help a customer.3 stars overall does NOT represent this store. They have a LOT of 1 star ratings particularly about rudeness.

I don't know if it's just this location or Rite Aid as a whole but they have some of the most ridiculous policies and some of the most incompetent people working for them who lack customer service. You have an issue, too bad, not their problem. The in store prices are always 30-40% higher vs what's online. They will refuse to price match if you go in store but find it's cheaper online. Because of that, my family and I have been doing online pick up, which can be hell. Sometimes the website will say a product is in stock, but as soon as you check out, it will say the product is unavailable so you either have to find an alternative product or do delivery. A few months ago I got an email notification saying my order was ready for pick up. I go to the store an hour later and the sales associate told me my order was not behind the counter. I had an argument with the sales associate because he told me there was nothing he could do for me and acted as if I was an idiot. I wasn't leaving until I got the order I paid for that was ready. After almost an hour, my order was finally found. It was in a back room. Today I did another order pick up. There was a deal on one of the products that was buy one get one free. For some reason the website was glitching and was charging the second product even though it should have been free. So I only add one product hoping either the free item would be added automatically or I could explain at pick up the glitch that occurred and get the item. I go to the store to pick up and the sales associate called for the "manager" to help me. Now I put quotations around manager because she was definitely not the manager since she was unable to help me and kept telling me to come back tomorrow to talk to the assistant manager. Anyways, I explained to her what happened, showed her the deal online that happened to be the same deal in stores, and asked for the free product. She said, "I cannot let you leave the store with a free item". She was acting as if I would be stealing the item I was supposed to get free to begin with! She was telling me I could either return what I bought online and rebuy in store. For one, that would be more expensive. And two, the easiest solution would have been to let me walk out with the free second item. So, I spent thirty minutes arguing with this employee because I couldn't understand why she couldn't just honor the deal. I bought an item that qualified for the second item to be free, then not give it to me because it wasn't on my receipt due to a glitch. I had to walk out without my products which pissed me off, and I will have to return tomorrow to argue with the real manager because this is ridiculous. I honestly don't know another company who wouldn't honor the deal and just give me the free item. It's not like I didn't purchase the item. She acted like I would be stealing it if she gave it to me.

Don't come here for any prescriptions. Pharmacy staff don't have any regard for customer service or courtesy at all. More often that not their answer is "not ready" or "we don't have it", which is understandable. However, how they relay the information is a different story. No apologies, nothing. If they could tell you to just go away they would. They probably wouldn't even care about the negative reviews.

The pharmacy has terrible customer service. I get heart meds for my dog refilled here. My dog completely ran out of meds yesterday (oversight on my part) so I needed a quick refill. I ran interference between my vet in concord and Hercules Rite Aid to make sure the refill authorization went out. Received text confirmation from the vet that the refill authorization was sent to rite aid. Tried calling Rite Aid to confirm they'd received the authorization. The pharmacy never picked up my multiple calls. Went in person to check on status. While the clerk at the register was courteous, the woman to whom she deferred, was flat out rude. Vet said authorization was faxed yesterday. She denied it. Vet asked for fax number to confirm, she insisted instead that instead of her giving them the fax number, they must TELL HER WHAT FAX NUMBER THEY SENT IT TO. She said she'd then tell them if they had the right number or not. Just nasty. Vet faxed authorization again and confirmed by text. I stated I would wait to make sure Rite Aid got it. The woman said it would take an hour for them to receive a fax. I stated I'd come back in an hour to make sure they had it and the woman rudely responded that the fax may still have not been received, because (now) it can take HOURS for them to receive a fax. I explained that my dog was out of heart meds and I NEEDED to get his prescription filled today so he won't miss a dosage of meds. I'm not sure if this woman is a pharmacist or a manager, but she is hands down the rudest individual I've ever dealt with at this Rite Aid.

I wish I could give this pharmacy 0 stars! Do not use them for your prescriptions- especially if you need timely and reliable service for a serious medical condition. I have been at this Hercules Rite Aid over 20 years for my medications and it has sadly been declining over the past 5 years. They leave automated voicemails which call and tell you that your rx is ready, and then when you go to pick it up, they tell you not for 2 more days! (this happens ALL THE TIME). Recently, twice they tried to charge me when all my medications are free! These are not new prescriptions- same as usual. On occasion, when my husband picks up my rx's for me they forget to give him ALL of them (3) total; it's not like there any new medications, it's all the same medications, due to renew at the same time every month. When I called from home asking where was the 3rd medications- they said it was ready, and they forgot to check for it. Wow! They don't provide updates; as in 2 medications are ready now and 1 will be ready in 15 minutes etc. They no longer care about customer service. It's always one thing after another with the pharmacy; very poor service. It's too bad, a shame really. Luckily Safeway Hercules has a pharmacy and I am going to give them a try. On a positive note- the front of the house staff is wonderful, especially Lisa, who really goes above and beyond when it comes to genuinely caring about customers.
