The Hermosa Beach Museum, operated by the Hermosa Beach Historical Society founded in 1987, preserves and interprets historical memorabilia pertaining to the city. It is a place full of history, from a famous surfboard to a replica surfboard from a famous musician. The museum is small but very good and interesting, providing a fantastic look at the area's past. It is free for general entry, easy to park, and the docents are very friendly, kind, and inviting, creating a great atmosphere. The museum hosts many lively community events like the Surfer's Walk of Fame and Volleyball Hall of Fame. It also provides monthly educational programming and field trips, offering a source of delight and lifelong learning.
