“I have an older Jeep with some underbody rust. Although I have a warranty, a local Jeep dealership held the car for 3 weeks, claimed the warranty wouldn't apply due to the rust, and then quoted me $7000 to replace a clutch. Insane. But Eric at South Bay Auto Repair did the job in 2 days (plus the transfer case) for a fraction of the Jeep dealer's quote. The whole experience at South Bay Auto was efficient, honest, and reassuring. Eric restored more than my transmission; he restored my faith in humanity. This will be our "I know a guy..." shop for as long as my wife and I live here. Bonus: ask to see the wicked guitar collection.”

“This team is very competent. I had my Jeep Grand Cherokee at the dealership to fix a intermittent engine light that kept coming on. Jeep dealer said, I need new engine. These guys found that my cam position sensor was cracked and oil was getting into it causing the engine light due to a short. Also, praise God! I also did pray they would find the problem and fix it. “I wrote this review about a month after going to Kike's to give more of an accurate account.
What an amazing experience! I had to get my rotors and pads changed and I called/went to different locations to get price quotes. In doing so, I am also look for great customer service and no doubt, Kike's was AMAZING! Kike came up to the car with a caring smile and very professional and courteous. He took a look at the pads/rotors and gave me his honest opinion and we worked out a price and about 1.5 hours or so later, the car was done and ready to go. This was about a month ago and the car is going great. Thank you so much Senor Kike! I really appreciate you and your amazing team in great work and exceptional customer service! “Top notch, customer service! Called them late on a Thursday and they didn’t have the size of tire I need but said they could get it by the next day. I was fine with that and when I asked if they could call me when they get it so I could have my car towed over it changed they let me know they can come to me. Called me early morning just like they said they would the next day. Helped get my tire replaced in no time and was so nice and friendly.”

It just rubbed me wrong so I had a talk with manager tge next day about it at dealership and he understood why I was upset and he went ot of is way to make it right. “Caring and great customer service. The shop supposedly close at 6pm. When I got to the tire shop, it was 6:06pm and the rep was preparing to close. However, the two employees helped me , checked all tires and fixed the flat tire. Tony was very helpful and kind person to address my tire problem along with his coworker.

“Mike is the absolutely most honest and reliable mechanic. I’ve been going to Mike for about 15 years now and he’s still as honest as can be. Reasonably priced and will never try to rip you off. He has even sent me back home when the dealer told me I needed a certain part and Mike told me my car was not in need of anything. That’s when I realized he’s the most honest mechanic I have met. Only problem is I moved about an hour and a half away but that doesn’t stop me from getting my vehicle towed to Mike when in need.”

“Family owned, wife and husband are honest. They check your issue and they tend to suggest to purchase all repair items at the local O'Reilly (down the street) which have part guarantees.
They tell you what's wrong and you purchase your parts, come back and they charge you labor. No eye gouging prices.”
