Aldi is the closest store to a Trader Joe's up here in the High Desert. Since it is unlikely Trader Joe's will be setting up shop here during my lifetime, Aldi is the alternative in between trips down the hill. Price wise, they are competitive with other stores in the area. Quality is hit or miss on their own branded products but it is fun to try new things out. Aldi is probably the most keto, Paleo, gluten free, low carb friendly store I have ever seen. There is something for everyone here regardless of dietary requirements. They recently had the best pricing for asparagus from Mexico and Peru at $1.83 for a bunch. What a treat to have fresh roasted asparagus spears during the wintertime! It is a most pleasant change from the usual green beans found on the holiday feast table. Christmas gingerbread cookies imported from Germany are another favorite of mine. I am particularly fond of the Lebkuchen, iced cookies baked on a thin wafer with the crispy, spongy texture. These have a nice spice flavor. Not the usual cookie people are familiar with here so more for me!I like to also get the no-sugar meat snacks that are available at Aldi. The meat sticks have a good flavor and are practically guilt free in regard to sugar content. Berries are priced well here for the wintertime. It is the usual strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, and blueberries. The blackberries are particularly plump and fresh as well as sweet. Very appealing and appetizing. All in all, a good place to spend some time to explore the products. You won't know what will be there until you look. There is even an aisle of miscellaneous merchandise that is priced to clear. Quality is unknown so choose wisely. Bring a quarter for the shopping cart. The cashiers are very fast during the check out process. Plenty of parking in the shopping center.

ALDI has been my go-to grocery store ever since the pandemic first hit. With the rising cost of living and just basic goods rising rapidly, it's been a real lifesaver. The fact that I can stretch my dollar here is absolutely amazing! I highly suggest this for anybody looking for good deals on basic goods.

Good store good prices diferent merchandise only thing I did not like the mobilecarts they are not inside you have to pay for one is not the money is the inconvenience for a disabled person. I did not find one on the entrance like the rest of the stores. I did not walk around cause of that, I just got chicken and out have difficult walking.

Not a fan of the store, staff was rude, asked them about a bag and they just pointed to where the bags were. I would have never thought to look at where they keep them.

I don't know if this is a review or a personal opinion. Maybe a little of both. Before Aldis opened its first doors here in the HD, my daughter mentioned she was excited about their arrival. She said they strived to use / sell stuff that was without preservatives and was sourced naturally. I was happy to finally have a place to shop where I didn't have to read the ingredient list for GMOs or natural flavors etc. Over the years I found items that I loved and felt confident that I was eating healthier foods. Recently I read the list of ingredients on a package of their chocolate vanilla stuffed sandwich cookies. I was totally mortified when I read beyond the initial list and found "Some ingredients are bioengineered ". Then I continued to read every label on their products in my pantry. Every one of them save for 1 or 2 used bioengineered ingredients. These were Aldis brands. I feel like an idiot for trusting any company to the extent that I didn't question their statements regarding better than, the well known brands we all know and love to hate. Probably could have said that better, but I need to go to sleep. It's not like they lied, but they did change my careful shopping routine. And I did not read labels that had their brand names. There is a saying about that. After considering my review over the past week, I do want to add a few things. If you take into consideration the other major grocery stores, Aldis does make an attempt to bring forth products that aren't loaded with high fructose corn syrup, artificial colors, flavors etc. their produce is grown with very little chemicals and pesticides. Plus they have Aldis Finds, which I find completely cool. I am disappointed with their use of GMOs, but I will continue to go there to shop but will be a lot more observant and read labels thoroughly. So changing my original rating from 3 to 4.

Awesome, so quick and genuinely the most affordable place around. Sometimes the variety of foods isn't always there and you may have to supplement shopping somewhere else, but most foods you can find here and the service is quick

We always end up with a lot more than we intended with a full shopping cart, but are also always surprised that the total bill is less than we expected.

When Aldi opened in Hesperia, I went one time about 2 months after the opening and the store was a dump. Held off going to AV location, prompted by my daughter and LOVE IT. It is bright, clean, prices are amazing and I now go about once a week for produce that cannot be beat for price & freshness!I love the cart quarter idea, so the parking lot is not litered with carts! Love that the checkout is so fast cause they throw everything in the cart and I bag it or not myself.

New to the area and this is the best Aldi I've ever been to, and I have been to some pretty swanky ALDIs.Roger was super helpful and friendly. If ALDI administration sees this you should give him a raise or buy him lunch or something.
