Charles is the best extra most bestest worker in the community of highland. Our register stopped and started smoking today while he was checking us out- he worked through his lunch break to finish out purchase. 10/10 this guy needs a raise Also Brenda's cool

Seanna ROCKS!!!! It appears that she normally works the Evening shift. I travel to this location because of Seanna. She keeps her crew in check, but does it in the way that her employees respect her. She truly cares and cultivates her employees. Seanna would make an outstanding store manager. I wish I had four of her when I was managing my business. Keep it up Seanna.

I'm adding back some stars... Tonight, there were notable changes at the store. Something that this place had lost almost entirely, seems to be coming back - pride in the service being offered to the community. I was greeted professionally and the employees looked much more groomed and put together. Far fewer side conversations were noted amongst the employees as well. I'd like to note specifically that Frank Garcia impressed me with how courteous and professional he was. He focused his attention on each customer in turn, and he was efficient, friendly, and pleasant to work with. In the 20 seconds it took for him to ring up my purchases, he restored my hope that Stater Bros still cares about customer service and values my community. Mr. Garcia's name tag had turned momentarily, so I asked him his name so I could be sure to commend him specifically for the service he provides. He kindly fixed his name tag and gracefully apologized, furthering my appreciation for his interpersonal skills. These spontaneous social graces are what makes these brief interactions so effective at leaving a positive impression. Stater Bros is either fortunate to have attracted Mr. Garcia to their team, or has improved their training and raised expectations for their employees. Either way, much improved experience tonight.

Our family enjoys shopping here-the place is sparkling clean,staff is always helpful and friendly and the deli foods are always fresh and delicious!The fresh made bakery always features just made fresh items too!

Gosh I'm sorry to say but as a long time customer of 10 hrs I've earned the right to add a little constructive criticism. Ive noticed that some NOT all of the younger employees are not very professional. I've been accustomed to the greetings and being asked if i would like help taking groceries to my car. Seems like a lot of chatter going on and no work being done ( I'm sure that's not the case it just appears that way). I don't know exactly what the issue is. But I miss the old fashioned service . I'm sure with proper training it can be GREAT again. By the way to the checker that always sends me off with a God Bless You make my day. I'll keep shopping and update my comments in a few months sorta like a report card. Hope this helps. I own my own business and do my best to keep my customers happy.

I'm a regular shopper at this location. Almost always a day time shopper. The store consistently looks very good and they get you through checkout quickly with friendly, great service. My recent visit, at night between 8 and 9, was totally different. It was such a bad look In regards to the checkout service. I was taken back, not expecting, as they are always professional and very friendly during day time hours. There was at least a half dozen employees hanging around checkout. They were eating from an open bag of bread and talking about co workers. I was ignored and hardly acknowledged. The cashier, as he was ringing me up was hardly looking at the items, continued talking gossip about coworkers. This was Wednesday night 3-8-23. I was disappointed witnessing this service.

We just went to the store yesterday ( and we always shop staters) we never have an issue. But yesterday, we brought home some ground beef and noticed it smelled awful. The color looked fine but because of the smell we took it back to the store. We also wanted to let them know and to check their meat products so no other customers get sick or anything else. They were EXTREMELY RUDE AND WOULDNT EVEN LOOK US IN THE EYE. We were shocked. We hadn't said anything bad to them, we just wanted them to be aware. So we decided not even to exchange the meat and go to Albertsons instead. Be careful with their meat products. Rude staff. So disappointing.

I was there yesterday. When I went through checkout the checker and the courtesy Clerk were having a conversation together. Never asked me anything. I told them yes I needed bags . Without them asking me. I told the checker Hi my day is good, how is your day? Then when I got to the parking lot the courtesy clerk was on her cell phone as she was putting away the carts. I shop at that staters a lot and this isn't the first time courtesy clerks and checkers had a blown on conversation without acknowledging me. Next time I'll put their names in it. But I do recommend Stater Brothers and I do like this stater brothers because it is always clean. But checkers need to not talk to the courtesy clerks about personal business when customers are in front of them. It's very rude. Thank you very much. I'm only giving five stars for the store of the cleanliness.

I was bummed about moving away from my local Alabama st. Staters in Redlands, but I have to say, this one is just as good. It's clean, employees are courteous, and, the best part, they also have SUSHI! :)

This is my go-to grocery store. Everything is always so clean and organized, I really enjoy that. The deli is always stocked up and service is fast. The butcher station in the back is also always super clean and the butchers are friendly, whenever I have any questions on how to cook something they always have great advice.

Always like going to stater Brothers service is really great I went to the meat department to have some spare ribs cut a particular way and they took care of it without any hesitation. Thank you stater Brothers for doing a great job every time

As a life time shopper at Staters. I always have a great shopping experience. Today was no different. All employees were friendly. All greeted me and ask if they could find something for me. The ladies in produce all said hello. The guys at the meat counter were surprised that I didn't want any meat today. But I stopped by and talked with them about smoking meats. By the way they can get you pork belly. Then as I made my way to get water. I ran into a very helpful and friendly young man. I believe his name was Trent. As I was checking out I was greater by a friendly smile and great conversation. I put this store at the top of all Staters In Southern California. It's the leadership at this store that puts them at the top. Thanks Mando for another great shopping experience. Cheers to you and your team.

I've been shopping at this location for 18 years and wanted to share a recent experience. I often shop after work in my scrubs and a lot of the people that work at this location will ask how my shift was etc. I just happened to have an exceptionally bad shift and was telling someone in produce how bad my night was. When I got to the register to pay for my items, another cashier came by and said, "Someone bought these flowers for you, they told me for the nurse in the blue scrubs". I was so surprised and actually got a little tearful in the car. For over a week every time I looked at the flowers and lovely card, I felt better going to work. About a week later I had mentioned what happened to a checker and she told me who bought the flowers...someone in produce. I was so touched and it made me feel so good to know that the people who work at this location actually care about their customers. It made me think about the special touches the folks in the meat department do like remembering how my husband likes his steaks seasoned (I won't remember but they know). The manager Mando even increased the number of salt bags I use for my water softener when I mentioned they run out sometimes. Over the last 18 months this store is always super busy, I was impressed with how they handled all the grocery hoarding and panic buying. I didn't hear anyone complain and in fact I think a lot of people really stepped up to meet the customers needs.

I have been shopping at this store for about 10 years since we moved here and it's become my 2nd home as I seem to always need something! With what seems like a lazy generation with poor customer service everywhere these days, my East Highland Staters has always been a breath of fresh air! My family and I have never had a bad experience here and the friendly atmosphere is definitely felt the moment we walk in the door! From everyone from produce, stocking, check-out, to bagging- there is ALWAYS a positive energy and a friendly welcome. I know that trickles down from management, and having several encounters with Armando over the years in the store, you can tell he hires people with his same positive attitude and hard working ethic! Employees are definitely top of the line and Armando is always there to greet us and I always see him working and talking to everyone! One reason I'm still in East Highland is my great shopping experience! Thank you to Armando and his amazing team for making every shopping experience great!
