Lived here for 20 years and i have some thoughts…First off parking is a nightmare. You think paying to live here is enough. Nope not for them. And although there is HOA “patrol” all night long to leave you yet again another ticket, don’t count on them to be of any help when is come to break ins etc. Bc apparently they only get out their vehicle if they see a car on the street from 3-6am. What happens in those 3 hours that prevents street parking ?? They world may never know. Oop and you better be home within 12 hrs of trash pick up because if not behold yet again another ticket. Don’t get me started on paying the tickets, maybe you should update the system cause no one wants to go to the post office to get a money order and who has checks these days??? Can we at-least get over the phone payment to get these “tickets “ paid on time because with the hours of typical business actually makes it mission impossible. Yes we understand that this upholds the community, and that you need to make your money somehow…. However have some leeway for your residents that’s have been here for a lifetime. Maybe in the next “board meeting” instead of nitpicking residents and for unpaid dues that with certain you know WILL BE PAID. Let’s be proactive discuss the ridiculous circumstances you give you your residents and make the HOA a less stressful association to deal with. Although i can go on and on this will do for now.XoxoGossip girl

I hung one string of $20 lights and now I'm paying over $2000 for not taking them down or attending their board meeting during a pandemic. Rules ok but taking advantage of me is bullying! Who on the board gets that bonus? No empathy from them zero rating from me. Hate the HOA love my home.

If you are moving here. It is great for 4 things1. Close schools2. Close shopping3. Close pools4.close walking trailsCons. These guy think they own the road. They can sit in the the middle of the road for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Not even blinkers on. Then give you a ticket for over night parking on a place that you spent 600k. Then to modify your house in anyway you need to ask them. Then the cso be sleeping in the car/trucks. I get that you want your neighborhood to look nice I just don’t wanna be paying for your dead grass. While you ticket whoever for having dead grass. Can’t even work on a vehicle without being ticketed. Lived here for 20 years. Slowly grew more and more. Literally got a ticket for light bulb change cause they didn’t like the color.

They're slow and unresponsive to guest complaints. On regards to reaching them for help?? Forget about it because they won't answer then hit you with a huge fine for not meeting a certain "due date" to meet said fine. Many others like myself had to deal with them sending out fines that could easily be appealed if they just responded to their phone calls/emails. It's ridiculous how you guys are representing home owners, but won't even get back to us in a timely manner. You guys do a lousy job in creating a safe neighborhood by giving unwarranted citations without properly communicating to the house owners first.

The community is great, including the facilities and people. I have no complaints there, if anything praise them for the upkeep and the close knit community. The lacking variable is the HOA its self. The disorganization and ridiculous rules create a suspenseful feeling of "when am I going to get ticketed next". The problem can be resolved by calling in and hoping someone will answer or call you back, but that means taking time out of your day to deal with these unnecessary tickets that should of not been issued in the first place. This frustration radiates throughout the the neighbors I have spoken with. It's understandable that the HOA is there to keep property values up, which I agree and there has been renovations done to the ranch in which the value has gone up. The biggest issue that even radiates through this review board is the parking situation. The inability to park not even one vehicle in front of your house without permission is absurd. Reiterating, the area is great, facilities clean and people are fantastic, but the down fall of the Ranch is the HOA.

The office is unresponsive to guest request, not only mine but many others down the street who have complained of their lack of service to their own community. Needs a new staff or training since it seems they don't care to get back to their community or help solve problems.

Absolutely terrible service. Nobody picks up the phone. Fake cops roaming around just picking on people. Gives me tickets in front of my house even though I called in before hand to tell them that I have a guest parking in front. Then I have to call them the next day and tell them that I did in fact tell them the day before that I left them a message. But 99% of the time they don't pick up and when they do they tell me they'll check if I did leave a message and they will call me back but never call me back. It is absolutely ridiculous I pay for a home here and I can't even get decent service. If you ever plan on living here please find somewhere else to save you the trouble. If you think it's safer to live here, it's not. You can live in Redlands or maybe loma Linda will be better. The security doesn't do anything . Some guy had his house broken into and beat up last year. I had my bikes stolen just a few months back. The neighborhood I lived in rialto a few years ago never even had a problem and they didn't have fake wanna be cops driving around either.

On my tenth year here. My immediate neighborhood is great, with really nice neighbors on a very nice street. White, black, latino, asian, middle eastern (have I left anyone out?)... everyone seems to get along here. The amenities in the Ranch are very nice, and my family feels secure here. That said, one still needs to use common sense. I make sure my home is up to par, and when out and about, don't do anything illegal or annoying to other residents (your kid was out smoking a joint by the lake, and you are incensed that a CSO addressed that? Really...). When I see anything of concern or out of the norm, I feel I can depend on the HOA and the CSO's to look into it. The CSO's have always been friendly and helpful. Life here is good. I find it almost humorous that all the negative reviews seem to involve the CSO's (eyes and ears of the HOA) and the problem of parking tickets. "The HOA is a bunch of Nazis and completely out of control..." That sort of thing. Someone even accused the HOA staff of profiting off of parking tickets? But as some reviewers have noted, each person who purchased a home here received the CC & R's and knew what they were getting into (if they ever bothered to read the rules). Yes, I left my car on the street and got a ticket. Whose fault is that? Yes, I've received a letter from the HOA regarding a concern at my house. So I addressed the concern, contacted the HOA, and it was no longer an issue. Several reviewers bashed Jorge Garcia in particular. Jorge was the compliance guy when we moved here, now he's the Assistant General Manager. You couldn't ask for a nicer, more helpful person! In fact, when I left my negative attitude at home and went to speak to EHRMHOA staff, every person I've contacted has been cordial and helpful. Yup, rules. The trade-off is that all the houses here are kept up. No oil leaking, rolling wrecks on my street, no motor homes blocking the view. No one playing death metal at 3am (my neighbor does sometimes Karaoke till 11pm, but his guests can actually sing), and a crime rate well below the norm for this part of SoCal. I'm all in.

Our kids have grown celebrating their birthdays in the beautiful pools and club house and we have the best memories of them playing in the playground, watching the ducks and fishing in the lake, and going on long walks and climbing the rocks. We enjoyed Santa visits in Christmas, Bingo nights, and all the kids asking for candies in Halloween. We couldn't have picked a better place for our families. We never had issues with the HOA and we feel the rules in place are just enough to keep the place as beautiful as you see once you enter EHR. We love the consistency, safety and clean spaces this place provide, our guests always compliment and are amazed with all the amenities. I highly recommend this place.
