“Save Mart on Lander Ave. has the largest selection of seafood in town. They are fresh and some are wild: the best! I have combed all the other markets and their selections are extremely small, not fresh and they are old in plastic wrapped containers. SM Lander has the best selection in town. They have an immense varieties from east coast to west coast. It depends on the time and the seasons. They have "farm" and "wild". The seafood are reasonably priced. They are mixed price. I drive across town for their fish. They have their own seafood counter. It is much larger than Raley's, Safeway's, etc. You can point and tell the clerk which fish you want. The services I have received, have been delightful. The seafood counter is located in the back of the store. It's the old fashioned counter where you talk to the clerk about the fish and he/she helps you. They weigh it and ask you if you want to delete or add to the amount on scale. If you enjoy cooking seafood in Turlock, this is the place to get your seafood. It's clean and you can view the variety behind the big glass wall.”

“I have been going to this place to have my eyebrows threaded and full face threading for years. "Baby" the eyebrow lady is amazing. She worked with me every week to grow my eyebrows out while keeping them looking clean and helped me achieve my desired eyebrows. The owner is also very good at eyebrow threading and precise. There were 2 younger ladies doing threading on random days when the owner was away and unfortunately were not very good. They are all extremely friendly and remember their customers. Children friendly. Eyebrows are $5 cash or $6 on a card and a full face threading is $20. I highly recommend this place to everyone, it is definitely a hidden gem! (It is also an Indian grocery store, the threading is done in the back room) (4/1/2017)”
