Very nice roadside stop location along the 152/Pacheco Pass Hwy. We only needed to use the restrooms, which were clean and well stocked. There's an adjoining parkette with trains and animals which is very cool for the kiddies. The store has a large selection of fruits and produce, nuts, and all kinds of other things. There's also the Casa de Restaurant if you want a full meal. Definitely worth the stop if you're travelling through the area.

Cas de Fruta is a place that I have enjoyed over many years that I have been driving. I have attended antique shows here and some other very special events. I also sampled pomegranate wine here which was really good. The restaurant was also a fun place and it was fun back in the day when they had the plate spinner. I also enjoyed walking around the beautiful property on a nice day and having a cold drink and snack. The market is also pretty cool and I always ended up spending more than what I intended to. Casa de Fruta which is about a 45 minute drive from my location on the peninsula is definitely an enjoyable experience.

We have visited Casa De Fruta a few times so far and having used all of their services I would not hesitate to recommend it to every one who would want to spend a day out with family. They have a wonderful 2-level carousel and a train ride across the property which are wonderful attractions not just for kids but for everyone else. The restaurant gets busy but it has a wonderful menu. Some of the older staff are a bit rude but I guess they get that attitude after having worked years at the place. The food is good which is what matters. Pancakes are fluffy if you opt for the breakfast menu and the burgers are good too. I haven't tried their prime rib but that is what I will try next time! The farm/store has lot of good stuff. The price point is a bit high but I wouldn't expect them to price match a Safeway. The wines are good too. The complimentary wine tasting is nice. They have wine club memberships. I also learnt about their inn and RV camp lot recently and perhaps some time in near future would love to check it out. Overall it is a fun day to spend with family! Don't forget the peacocks..

I expected just a house of fruit from the name and we stopped here mainly for EV charging for our Tesla. This place is actually pretty cute and charming. It's a lot larger than I thought it would be. There are numerous buildings under the name "casa de" such as a wine tasting shop, a restaurant, a chevron gas station store, a sweets shop, etc. I am not sure when the train operates because when we went the kid attractions seemed to be closed but they have a cute looking carousel and a somewhat abandoned looking playground. We saw them peacocks and a noisy rooster on the premises. I loved how charming everything was and would love to come back to ride the merry-go-round which looks like an old-school one with a second story and the train! As for the shop, I have no idea what is good here but there are so many things to see which is fun.

They have a large selection of dried fruits, nuts, candies, chocolate, fresh fruits, and souvenirs. The prices were a bit steep in my opinion, but it's expected of a touristy place like this.

When I was a little kid, my dad used to take me to Casa De Fruta after a long day of fishing. We would go there just to pick up some delicious dried fruits, but sadly, we never got the chance to ride the train or carousel. Now that I have my own child, I am so glad that she can experience it all for me. I initially thought the train ride would be short, but to my surprise, it traveled quite a distance. Seeing my daughter's excitement brought me immense joy. Unfortunately, luck wasn't on our side when it came to the carousel. It seemed like the operator had taken a break, or so we assumed. There were no signs indicating her absence, so we patiently waited by the entrance, hoping she would return. After 15 minutes of waiting, we decided to give our tickets to a random family. Despite the carousel hiccup, the staff at Casa De Fruta were kind and friendly, particularly towards the little ones. While the ice cream we bought was only okay, it still served as a sweet treat to savor. I also appreciated the presence of playgrounds, providing an additional avenue for children to have fun. Before embarking on our long drive to San Francisco, we indulged in a delicious dinner at the nearby restaurant. The flavors satisfied our cravings and energized us for the journey ahead. Casa De Fruta remains a cherished destination filled with childhood memories, and now I am grateful for the chance to create new ones with my own family.

BEWARE OF ONE RUDE EMPLOYEE I must start off by saying this place seems like a very happy vibe and chilling place to relax at. Delicious wine and all but happen to have come across a rude cashier named Melissa that works at the Wine and Deli. It's only my 2nd time here ever and first time signing up for wine club beforehand and didn't know how their process is so while I was checking out, she didn't ask for wine club or anything so I was assuming it will probably be asked at the end just like how a lot of stores are nowadays in general. Then I told her I have a phone number and she replied "number? Why do you have a number?" In a rude way and I apologized and meant to say wine club because I once again assumed it would be under your phone number but I was wrong. Idk if she was having a bad day or something but that never gives the right to be rude to ANYONE.

Dropped in for lunch with my mom. We both ordered the half sandwich and soup. The waitress brought my plate, tilting it while she's handing it to me, warning that the soup spilled and she didn't want to get the sandwich wet. However, it was already soaking wet. She didn't bring another plate, so I put the sandwich on a napkin. The turkey sandwiches come with bread, meat and lettuce. No mustard, mayonnaise or anything else and none was offered. The soup tasted like it was from a Sysco can. It took forever to get a check, with no consideration that customers are traveling and don't want to sit for 20 minutes waiting for a check. Worst of all, the bathroom absolutely reeked of urine. Like a port-a-potty on a Sunday at Burning Man.

I've driven by Casa de Fruta so many times and on our trip back from Carmel, we finally stopped for a little bathroom and coffee break! There's a lot going on at Casa de Fruta, and we made our first stop at the candy store to get some espresso. Not only was it super cheap, but the espresso was honestly so delicious and perked us right up for the rest of the drive! After our espresso moment, we took a stroll through the actual store. There's a lot of jams, fruit, vegetables, candy etc for you to browse. They also have a little wine bar where you can have a sample or two. One thing that really shines about Casa de Fruta is the amazing staff! Every staff we walked past made an effort to greet us and were super warm and friendly. Overall very good vibes and great coffee at Casa de Fruta, and now I know where to get good coffee on the drive between Fresno and the Bay Area.
