I've gone to this pharmacy off/on for the last 10+ years. I've always had a good service with them whenever I went. Sent me notifications through phone when my prescription would be ready. Sometimes though the notifications don't go through and I have to call and ask. I always choose 'talk to a pharmacy staff member' instead of 'check your prescription' when I call them because it sends you to an automated service with the latter. I've had trouble with it in the past where it would say my prescription is ready when it actually isn't. The pharmacy staff member can give you the definite answer though. Overall it's a decent place and have gotten various vaccines there. Would recommend.

Terrible customer service we used the "skip the line" and made a appointment for a flu shot when we got to our appointment there was 6 or 7 walkins that were taken before us. So skip the line is bs. We waited 30 minutes then gave up.

Delivery is always late and incorrect. I recently tried three online delivery orders through Safeway. All three were late and had missing items or items I did not order. I tried to contact the delivery person, but they can't solve problems They just put bags on the porch. Sorry Safeway, but much improvement is needed in this area before I will return as a customer.

I've been shopping there sense they opened, I agree, sometimes they can be backed up or slow to wait on someone. I get that, what I dont get is why this person, called out the white people. I'm thinking she used this platform just to join the hate everybody but blacks group. This is so typical these days, people are starting to notice the color of your skin, how sad. Then, everyone wants to know why we cant get over this damn hate, from both sides I might add. There are very good people on both sides that dont align with any color of people. Unfortunately I'll be gone by the time people get a f**king clue of whats going on, then, it's too late. Everyone looses

I've been shopping at Safeway stores for over 15 years. I love the company and usually give a lot of grace for errors or mishaps. I have to say this store is a disgrace. The customer service is the worst. They literally give zero shits about helping customers. I've had multiple issues with my grocery delivery, saying over half the items were out of stock. Last time I drove straight to the store and found every item they were too lazy to include in my order. The manager said he would look into it and get back to me, he never did. I moved to hollister last year and was happy to have a a Safeway, but this is a horrible store. It's rarely organized. The employees always seem miserable. The kids standing out front with the carts have headphones in and aren't even friendly when you say hello first. It's got to be the worst place to shop. I have asthma and hate wearing a mask to shop because it gets difficult after a while. I use the delivery option to avoid this issue. Today my order was over an hour late. Nobody reached out, or tried to provide an update. I had to call the customer service number and find out it would be a half an hour more before it arrives and they couldn't give me a reason as to why. I also had to leave for work so, now I have to work a 15 hour shift and no groceries. Honestly, this has to be the worst store to ever exist. They're lazy and rude. Send your hard earned money elsewhere.

This review is for their home delivery service. My husband and I bought over 200 dollars in groceries (which is easy to do) and decided to have a home delivery since both of us work so much and still go into the office. Today our order was delivered yet over half of our groceries were delivered. Well over 100 dollars never even made it to our house. The delivery woman was in such a hurry to get out that she ran doorbell and ran away. When I called customer service they honestly couldn't care less. We will not be doing any online orders and will probably start going to nob hill next door. I haven't had much issues in the store but I would never order online again.Want to update everyone. They had reordered my groceries to be delivered today between 8-10am and I've been on hold for ten mins waiting to find out where my delivery is. If their earlier incident wasn't enough this fully pushed me over to never buying their food again.

Went to get a sandwich and chicken tenders on Wednesday july 15.Took approx 40 min to get a sandwich when I was the second in line. The person making it was busy chatting while making a sandwich and took around 25 min to make 3. To top it off, as soon as two white males came in one deli service guy, raymond, white guy with ponytail (that is the name I was given) came out and immediately helped him. I went to see if the night manager could help me but he did not care. He said he would go to the deli but never did. Instead he sent a girl over tall white girl with long straight hair, only asked me if I was next in line. Finally, after waiting approx 35 min a female went out to make my daughters sandwich. She would go to the back to get the meats. She did not put cheese and only put 3 pickles. I asked for pickles on the side. And I asked for cheese but after she got it, she went to the back. She charged me extra for asking for two types of meat and charged me 1 dollar for extra pickles. My son had to wait for chicken tenders because they where gone when raymond let the white guy go before me, the guy took them all. I asked for night managers name and he said Ulysses, it's right here on my badge... he did not care that I was going to call corporate and file a complaint. I called customer service and filed a complaint. The CSR said she would forward to DM.

The first time I used Safeway's pick up and go my pick up time was at 5:00. I waited for almost 2 hours for my groceries out in the parking lot before I decided I needed to go home. They told me they would call me when it was ready but when it got close to 9 o'clock I decided to call them. Finally at 9:30 at night my groceries were ready for me to pick up. I was so upset over this I decided not to use them again. Today I wanted to give them a second chance because I wasn't feeling good. I can place my order online and they gave me a pick up time of 2 o'clock. I sent my son there at two to pick up the groceries. They told him half an hour. He waited in the car for half an hour and then called again. They told him it would be another half an hour. He's already gone through this game before the first time with me so he knew it could be an all day experience. I didn't want to spend the day doing this so I called and canceled my order. From now on I will be using Nob Hill's pick up and go. The groceries are a little more expensive but at least they do what they say they're going to do.

Horrible customer service. Absolutely horrible. Had a terrible experience where I was treated horribly & humiliated by more than one employee. I just overall recommend trying another grocery store in town. I have never returned back to this Safeway and now shop at Lucky's where the service is very welcoming friendly and helpful.
