My Rite Aid in Larchmont closed and I was told my prescriptions are at this CVS. I stopped in to make sure I was set up and had the displeasure of dealing with the most unfriendly and downright rude pharmacy clerk Won’t go back, I would rather drive an extra several miles to avoid such negative energy.

Man having surgery and coming in to get your meds after isn’t possible here. They will harass you and make it difficult for you to get your meds. It was so bad that my dr switched my prescription to another pharmacy bc of the interaction the dr had with the pharmacist here. I’m 63 years old and clearly just had surgery and they withheld an antibiotic even tho I said I’d pay cash. I’m disabled and had to pay extra to Uber to get to the other pharmacy. The pharmacist here was so difficult that my dr made me go to another. Crazy that a pharmacist can effect my life more than the dr. Stay away from here

I just experienced yet another instance of racial profiling at a CVS location in Los Angeles, and I feel compelled to speak up.
I stopped by this CVS because I had a dentist appointment just down the street. I was early, a bit hungry, and wanted to browse around to pass the time. As I was walking through the store, texting on my phone and casually looking at a few items, a staff member — either white or Hispanic — approached me from behind and asked if I needed help. I replied that I was just browsing. I genuinely wasn’t looking for anything specific, though I had a couple of items in mind I might purchase.
Within seconds of that interaction, I heard him call for security over the radio. Because this isn’t the first time I’ve experienced something like this, I knew exactly what was happening. I continued shopping calmly, still unsettled, and eventually went to check out with the two items I chose. As I stood in line, another call came over the intercom: “Security to the front.” No one ever came, but the message was clear — my presence and my browsing were perceived as suspicious.
Let me be clear: window shopping is not a crime. Walking around a store and browsing without grabbing something immediately is not suspicious behavior. It’s normal. And yet, as a Black woman in Los Angeles, I continue to be treated as if I’m doing something wrong just by existing in certain spaces. This isn’t just about one store employee — it’s a pattern I’ve seen too many times at CVS.
I’m deeply disappointed and frankly, exhausted by this experience. For now, I will be transferring my prescriptions elsewhere. I cannot continue to support a business that consistently makes people like me feel unwelcome or presumed guilty simply for shopping.
Do better, CVS.

Horrible experience at the Vine street CVS today. The cashier, clerk named Sonia, and the manager should all be replaced. They treat customers like garbage. Worst store in Los Angeles.

If you’re looking to be disrespected by rude employees who hate their jobs , this is the place !!!! Everything is locked up , so you’ll get to experience oodles of disrespect and attitude . And nobody knows nothing , so be prepared to receive eye rolls and shrugs if you’ve got the need or the audacity to ask a question ! The current model passing as your local corporate drugstore is a dying concept - if fails to satisfactorily meet the needs of its intended clientele. This is why they are closing at unprecedented levels - and good riddance to them ! The radioshackification of American drugstores is a sad thing to witness - corporate greed and incompetence , offering ignorant , undertrained , indifferent staff and empty shelves is a truly toxic force !

I had the best experience with the pharmacy! Never in my life have I had such polite, attentive, caring people when picking up a prescription. I wish I would’ve gotten their names so I could give a shoutout, but I was there on 7/22/24 around 11am. The way they spoke to each and every customer was so genuine and sweet. I was having some problems with my doc and they quickly rushed my prescription so I could make it to my surgery in time. Thank yall so much for being so amazing! There needs to be more people like yall in the world <3

A most uncompassionate pharmacist. My Dr. retired and left me with three refills since he was retiring. His license lapsed two months later because he was retired. The pharmacist refused to issue my 3rd refill because my Dr. was no longer licensed. No warning, nothing. Just cut off without notice.

The staff have zero customer service training. All of them act like they are underpaid (if that's the case just quit) specially the fat guy and the short bald one. They only have 4 shopping carts and they have the shopping baskets hidden under their counter where you need to wait for someone to show up to give you one because the staff is never to be found, hiding somewhere wishing you use the self check out and not bothering them.

Don't let the outside of the biilding scare you off. Its not kept up well for cvs, but the inside is clean & organized. Easy self check out...pharmacy staff very pleasant.

Honestly, this is the best CVS in the area! Easy to get to, easy to park. The lines are never long. The staff is kind and helpful. The store is always clean and well stocked. By far the best CVS in the Hollywood area!
